So much more functionality than you would expect. From making notes, linking to health app, and even exporting your recordings as a PDF, it really offers so much. Didn’t need to spend money on a decibel meter unless you need pro level readings.

Would love to use this as a live audio tech instead of something like Smaart SPL, but the combo of no useable iPad UI and no dark mode make that a pretty poor experience. Otherwise a big fan of this app!

Just downloaded this App today for work. It’s really easy to use. I’ve only used it with my phone speaker but I will be getting the external microphone, I am curious to see if the readings I recorded out on the yard today will change. I’ll write an update after I have it.

This is a great idea and is helpful to many, but a lot of folks can’t stand around at their employer with their phone on in their hand. The app stops recording whenever your screen turns off or locks…

Does what it says it will: measures sound. I use it to make sure the noise machines for my kid aren't too loud at night. I also use it occasionally to see how bad the noise is around me; for example, sitting on the patio and realizing the traffic noise is as loud as a conversation and we're all basically yelling to talk over it (60 dB ambient, 70-73 conversation). What's more, you can save it to Apple Health to track what your environment is like over time. Might be a useful tool to go to city
