I sailed across the Pacific using this app in conjunction with an NMEA-WiFi hub to view boat and wind data. Very practical and fully customizable. I especially enjoy the data smoothing function. Highly recommend.

Really love this app but really Wanted to use it on my Apple Watch. Pretty disappointed that it doesn’t stay connected unless you have your iPhone app open. The Apple Watches wifi should be able to work just like it does on the iPad or iPhone. I want to look at my watch and see any NMEA data I want on a complication.

This is a great and very polished app. I'm using it with the global cache wf2sl wifi to serial converter which is much cheaper than the marine units.

Easily set up with SeaSmart.net connected to the ship's wifi. Works great on ipad and iphone so far (just installed, haven't hone cruising yet!) it would be nice to be able to edit (or create new) screen layouts, but I would recommend it to anyone who wants remote access to their NEMA data!

Downloaded new version 9.1.2016. Great if it works. Display seem to be accurate and easy to read. However: This version crashes on iOS 10.0 Beta 7

However, it crashed when receiving NMEA of TCP/IP on iOS 10.2, which is a bummer. I use this app underway all the time. I miss it. Please update soon! Update: I did figure out how to turn off sentences that make crash (which aren’t even on my network anyway). This is the most useful app I have in my arsenal. I don’t sail with out it. My Mac below decks runs PolarNavy and does all the heavy lifting while I sit on deck with this app. Works great!

The updates are working great. I’m connecting through my NavLink2 and seeing the data I need.

I am using the NMEAremote app with my Quark Elec A026+ AIS Multiplexer and gives me all the NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 data I need on my WiFi only iPad. I get AIS data, GPS position, SOG, COG, Depth, Sea Water Temperature,etc. I will soon add Wind data from the NMEA2000 wind sensor and battery, charging and tank level level data from Victron Energy Cerbo GX. A great app with tons of customisations. You can easily add pages and choose the layout and then add the data elements you need. Works also grea

If you don’t already have a data source configured, the app just crashes when you try to add one. Contacted the author in early April and he said an update was coming, but has not responded since then. Shame because I’ve used it in the past and it’s great when it works.
