"No Distractions" for YouTube App Reviews

And perfect too. I aaaallmost wrote a bad review because didnt understand how to make the app work. I did not know that this app is essentially an extension. Never know Safari had extensions! What you have to do is go to Safari’s search bar, hit the double As on the left and go to “Manage Extensions” to turn on the extension. The instructions are in the app but I didnt understand. But I got it quickly. I also was hesitant to put this on my phone because I didnt know if I can trust this app.

Wish I had an option to just show the top 2 videos on on the right hand bar. esp given that hiding the whole thing bugs out the player right now. Wish it had an option to filter subscription list though, but that would just end up being a page with bookmarks.

Just got it and glad with features. Minor bug where when it refreshes the extension loses all the options selected. Works like a charm when it does work though! 👍

I just downloaded it and it seems really good. I needed something for Safari!

I appreciate that this is the best app for the web. Those annoying algorithm always interrupt me with wasting time that is valuable. I wish that there would be a new update that will block the preview of a video that is hidden. If it was in an app that would be the beat since I don’t write reviews.

Would like to be able to block the whole sidebar like in the unhook extension for chrome. Don’t know if this is possible, but would like to be able to have this work on Brave. Also, comments aren’t loading now.

I often want or need to watch YouTube videos, but the god forsaken site is literally built to distract us. This means deleting the app is not an option, and besides the website will always be on safari. Since your helpful app removes the unnecessary distracting features, I hope I can use the site with purpose going forward.

It's great extension. but still some distraction there "explore" can you block it?

Just downloaded and it seems to work fine on Mac OS Monterey. However, when comments are toggled on, the option to expand the comment is not there. I'm using this app to listen to my YT music playlist videos without distractions, and often the timestamps for the playlist are in the comments. It would be lovely if the option to expand comments was added!

Quite simply, this is for people who understand the manipulation these software programs have upon productivity. This app works by eliminating the plethora of distractions that are gigantic time wasters, which are YouTube recommendations. YouTube can be very educational, but it tends to go bad due to recommendations.

I really value this tool, it has helped me reclaim my attention. One thing I wish is that if we checked "Show comments", that option would persist and stay on for other videos and we don't have to keep re-checking it

I often get sucked into the recommendations. Just watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix and bought this right away. This is a simple and great extension I would recommend to everyone. Works just as advertised.
