An easy way to shop consciously and spend your money guilt-free

I truly appreciate this app as it helps me avoid products that support Israel and the g-cide in Gaza. I mostly use it when grocery shopping. However, some of the bar codes scan incorrectly, e.g. scanning Evolution Fresh Apple Juice comes up as Apple (computers), scanning Black Rifle Coffee Company products also comes up incorrect. Both of these examples are not owned by parent companies. They are independently owned.

I always research companies to see where my money is going, No Thanks makes it so easy and kills my research time to just a few seconds. The barcode scanner is a game changer and I live in the Middle East with a bunch of local and regional brands that are also picked up by No Thanks.

Love this app. I look up lists or products before I purchase.

This app is excellent for finding out which products are owned by which companies. And to make your purchase choice accordingly. Many products do not state which company owns them and what that company supports. For example e cos laundry sheets are owned by c o ca co la. No where on the box does it state that. It’s an excellent app. I wish there were more like this because how you spend your dollar can be powerful if enough people do it!!!

Amazing app so far! But I do think it could be more helpful if the app recommended alternatives to brands and products that aren’t unethical/boycotted! It’s helpful to see a product that is being boycotted and why, but it would be even more helpful if the app showed me an alternative to a similar product so I had a go-to. Please take up on my recommendations, as it may help consumers truly stay away from unethical companies and products. Amazing job so far in being on the right side of history!

After months of endless waiting the NoThanks is available for everyone! Thanks to the developers’ hard work and perseverance as well as all the team members and supporters I can now shop with a lot more confidence. It’s useful, simple, easy to use and extremely helpful to those who are making more conscious and better choices.

Been waiting for this app. Thanks for your hard work. Will like the app to have more though and I’m sure it will keep growing. Doing my own investigation I have found more and more companies that aren’t on the bds but are funded or have connections to Israel that we should boycott
