We all need to be aware of what is going on in our community. That includes crime, inclement weather, and many other Situations that could affect residents negatively or otherwise.

Tv providers I DO NOT TRUST Because they can take any tv channel. That is why I use Apple TV to watch tv. This is a great app. I wish you would put live tv in this app. And you could connect this app to Apple TV like the CW and other tv apps And Fox News channels and like other News apps does. Other local news apps are much better. Very bad pop up ads cause you to click on things accidentally and see adds before you get anywhere near reading the story. Also how they prioritize what news items get a notification is very strange. I’d hear things about celebrities but not a peep about legitimate local news stories. Not helpful. I’m also seeing more and more language that shows they have right-leaning political views which is inappropriate. I value facts and neutrality in news organizatio

Having difficulty reporting to app support

There are so many ads that I can’t find the information that I got notified about. I deleted from my phone out of frustration.

Too many commercials!!! Many times there is nothing about story. Would rather have written version available without the video. Need to have option of just reading or just watching.

Really frustrating with amateur programming. If you enable notifications the app won’t take you to the actual article in the notification. It takes you to a bunch of other stuff- in clear view of their advertisements, of course. Not a wonder journalism isn’t a respectable profession these days.

On a superficial level I greatly dislike the new “nonstop local news” logo. My main issue is the addition of sponsored content that is made to looks like news stories.

I have had this app for several years. Some updates I’ve liked, some not so much. The current format/update is the worst to date. Navigation is sketchy, most stories force you to watch video clips from news casts, and story updates are lax at best. KHQ continues to be my go to local news channel, however I plan to dump this app and look at krems.

The mobile app as well as the Apple TV app work sometimes. The KHQ splash screen with annoying sound can play over and over and over and over, you get what I mean. Sometimes you just want to watch the current evening news but this app will go to the previous morning show. Sometimes it’s just better to go another local Spokane station app that works much better.
