when I saw this app at the first time I thought it’s like notepad, however I realized it’s really useful one. most of calcuation in common life can be carried out by this app. ecspecially gouped variables are very powerful. it’s really fun and like a small programming.

simple yet very useful app like a simple spreadsheets or programming language. I love variables features at most. literally, simple and beautiful !!!!

Great calc, use it almost everyday for different calculations. But it needs some improvements of stability.

This little app is a great concept. However, currently the application does not have any online help, or a cheat sheet giving hints of the ways to calculate. At the moment you pretty much have to refer to the screenshots in the App Store. Thus the lower rating.

Very useful! It can't replace completely a normal calc, but it surely gives something no other calc gives. It is very useful, very friendly.. I just wish they add global shortcut to show/hide the app and also ability to remove it from the dock and move it as tray icon or hide it complete, so only the global shortcut can call the app.

This app looks like a copy of Soulver which I've purchased and think very highly of. In Note Calculator, I tried a simple calculation using simple variables and it gave me results that don't appear correct: amount1=100.00 = 100 tip=15% = 0.15 amount2=amount1 tip = 100.15 -------------------- Total: 200.3

This app is fantastic! It handles variables very well, and the included tutorial makes everything super clear. The ONLY thing I don’t like is how it handles—or rather doesn’t handle—percentages in results. For example, 2/4 returns 0.5, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to make it show as 50% instead. Even worse, it also doesn’t cancel out units like $ when dividing, so $2/$4 returns $0.50 instead of 0.5, which is incorrect and confusing. Other than that, though, I haven’t really found anything

I have completely replaced the standard Calculator on my iPhone and my iPad with this App. Very slim, very easy to use, great for simple and complex calculations, love it. The only thing needed is to sync between my own devices using iCloud. Please add that, I do not mind paying a proper price for that function!
