Noted: Record & AI Transcribe App Reviews

Lifetime Noted subscriber here. There was a lot to love in Noted early on in development (hence my purchase of a lifetime subscription). But my optimism has shifted and soured somewhat. It’s been a year since the devs were asked to consider extending the Shortcuts integration to allow for audio import, export, and ASR. Radio silence. Please, do. I’ll add two stars to this review the moment you do.

Not the best thing since sliced bread, it’s even better!

I love this note taking App! I use its transcribing, and recording, features so often in my work, it makes things easy for me. I love that I get it in all my devices too, and all the Note taking tasks in my work, or my personal life, in meetings, or anywhere else where taking notes is important, Noted has become my no 1 choice!

I like the app and it gives me a one time payment option for a lifetime subscription which I am willing to pay but I don’t want to enter my credit card information in my iPhone. I looked on your website if I could pay there but the lifetime subscription option is not showing on your website. If you can find a way for me to pay you the one time lifetime subscription amount, that would be awesome. Thanks!

I’ve been a loyal Noted app user for three years using it in college and since graduation for certifications and job search where I have all the job descriptions for job I’ve applied to. open the app today all my notebooks are gone. Can’t get them restored.

The apps with stereo recording (Just Press Record, Tape It) have much better audio fidelity, if Noted had that it would instantly be 5 stars.

I love the app and all its features like many have stated. But the widgets would be more useful if they display the proper selected info. I largely get blank boxes often.

Just wish I knew how to get ai summarizing without copying and pasting into chatgpt

This app is a great idea the construct is great. Bit somehow it is so confusing and unnavigable. I just don’t understand so many things about it. Where are the tutorials on this? Am I missing something? I cannot figure this thing out and want to use it so bad. I wanna be able to talk and have it dictate but it never ever works! Soooooo frustrating 🤯

I’ve been looking for apps for transcribing audio in real-time and offline in multiple languages, and eventually I settled with otter.ai, but my problem with them is they are online only, their free plan isn’t very generous, and they are expensive. Noted on the other hand is a great deal, is offline compatible, and can transcribe multiple languages.

I've been using Noted for a while now, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. The way it transcribes text is spot on. I don't have to worry about missing any important details during meetings anymore. Plus, the options for recording meetings are super detailed. It really helps keep everything organized. As a lifetime subscriber, I've been really happy with the regular updates. The app keeps getting better and better. One thing that would make it perfect is a feature to summarize me

I recently restored my noted app and I have over 70+ recordings that will not load!! I can’t export them either! I really need these bc they are very important! Any information would be greatly appreciated!

This is so useful for meetings and lectures for grad school. I also appreciate that they added live transcription after people asked for that - it’s always nice when developers take feedback into account. Thanks for this great app!!

I’m glad I got a lifetime subscription. I wish this had 2 features which would make this app the best in the AppStore. 1. The app or the AI recognizes that there are x number of people in the discussion of meeting. And then the transcription be done like Person 1: says so and so person 2: says so and so. And let the user give name to the person. This way the notes will show real meeting minutes on who said what. 2. Way to do a 1 click send via email.

The recording app works, however there are absolutely no instructions. Similarly, other than a statement that the fee is dependent on the location of the user which is buried in extraneous and lengthy text, apparently I am to divine which fee my location requires. I would pay the yearly fee if I was confident I knew what I was buying. Without such details I will have to cancel this subscription.

Great app concept but I wish it was more customizable with backrground colors, fonts, themes, etc.

Good organization and smart playback features but the dictation isnt close to ai level

Clean, minimal and easy to use.

This app is an amazing tool! However, It would have it all if it allowed (1) the use of the updated Apple Pencil with the huge variety of added tools. (2) Had an app for windows.

Still a great app but what happened to the one tap recording start? Now it just opens the app and you have to fiddle around opening a folder then starting it. Please add feature to automatically start the speech to text every time. Starting it is another button press. When trying not to forget something, less taps to entry please. One tap record and voice to speech.

I think I downloaded a compromise in my account instead of an app

I wish had this app when I started my doctorate.

I really like this App. I like the design and functionality. I’d like to request an additional feature such as the possibility to link to calendar, and/or to give a date to a note. I record everything that is important to me, and also as TO DO, and future appointments. If the notes within a Notebook (Monthly notebooks for me), would be excellent. Thank you for your time and congratulations on you App.

Helps you organize notes and recordings.

I was in a rush to take stamped notes as quickly as possible for a job… while on the bus… to my other job…using only my phone. This app made it possible for me to get it done efficiently. I’ve been looking for this kind of tool for so long.

Noted is a phenomenal app. It’s packed with features and the customer service is legit. I had an issue (iCloud) with syncing, so I email them. I heard back within about an hour. If I need to take detailed notes, this is my go to.

The easier and best note taking application. Great way to use multiple tools in one place.

It’s like the notes app but maybe better? I love this notes app the others cost to do literally anything. This one allows you to highlight, change fonts, record, change size and format, etc. for free!!

Transcription was very rough. I had to spend a lot of time editing the text.

Actually, I have no problem with the app, at least not so far. My problem comes from having a different facing the images shown here on the site. I wanted to understand what the icons were for so I came here to see and there’s nothing I went to their website and there’s nothing. They have a users guide, but there’s no pictures, no explanation of icons, and the “Contact Us” button does not work. For an app with all of these accolades, and good - great reviews, you’d think they could afford a Cust
