I’ve been listening to NPR since the late 90’s.

I wish I could easily sort for recorded stories, and also by topic. I don’t use the app much anymore because I have to scroll through to find audio recordings for random stories.

In this day an age we are looking for solidly curated information. Whether it be news, foreign affairs, culture, or just something lighthearted. NPR has it!!! In the car…through my air pods….I find what I am looking for on NPR. TRY IT TOO!

I think the title of this review says it all. Please support your local public radio stations and your local NPR station.

I love the way NPR gives me the straight facts and allows me to come to my own conclusions. I love the details they give so much I can’t stand the network news bites anymore

I’ve been listening to NPR for multiple decades. I’ve always considered it a high-quality news source. That does an excellent job in explaining complex issues. I value NPR as a trusted source for information.

Please don’t give in to the madness that is the republican party of today. Uri Beliner is delusional and should be shamed for trying to push his radicalized agenda on NPR. Strict and extreme right leaning news sources are everywhere, send him that way.

Too many noisy, overproduced shows trying too hard to “entertain”. Do we need all the sound effects, background music and hosts straining to be funny and cool?

No playlists. No dark mode, either.

No playback speed function when using news player. Algorithm less useful. No “previous track” button

I really enjoyed the previous interface, with three horizontal bands of articles. The images with the articles were larger. The new interface is messy and slower to comprehend. The blinking ads are atrocious and will be enough to make me drop this platform as a news source.

The best radio station I can find sounds terrible on the app. If I listen on the radio, it’s crystal clear. I have great internet connection. Customer service said they didn’t see the issue and wouldn’t look into it further. Thanks guys
