Deep Weather

OUTSTANDING IN ALL RESPECTS

Awesome app! For serious weather geeks

If you’re looking for a REAL weather app that gives you real data. This is the app for you! Unlike other weather apps that have flashy videos and graphics this app has what you really want and need DATA!!! Not only do you get all the data you could possibly want. You also have everything you need to know what kind of weather is coming your way. And yes you also get radar maps and graphics to boot!! AND ITS FREE!!!

National Weather

Have the free app, information are light, not useful in case of emergency.

Awesome weather application

I like that the app is so detailed. The only thing I would like to see would be a radar that you can put into motion.

Unique!

Absolutely superb app. It goes above and beyond the typical weather reports and gives added “behind the scenes” information.

Direct from NOAA—no graphics, no gimmicks

Loads fast and updates simultaneously with NOAA.

Top rate forecasts

Details are well documented. Uncertainties are clearly defined. Class A app! Thanks.

Pbw

Excellent product, as are the other two they offer

Fantastic Weather App

Can’t say enough about how useful this app is - keep up the great work guys!

Great quick app

Must have for pilots and professionals that depend on in depth prognostications.

Basically NWS

This is basically weather.gov, but it's faster to navigate and find the info you want. Not pretty, but it does have good info. I dislike that the menu bar disappears and you have to slide back to home to go to a different view. I would be more likely to subscribe after the trial is over if Extended Forecast wasn't such a hassle to access: 1) You can't choose from your favorites 2) Whether location is allowed or disallowed the app can't find my location and I have to dismiss the Location Unavail

The Best Weather App. Period.

Scroll down to the bottom and opt to read all the information on one page. You get a detailed, accurate analysis of what is, and what is to come. Spot on. No hyperbole.

Good but annoying

I like the idea of this app. The use of text instead of graphics is refreshing, and the Extended Forecast screen tells me what I need for the area I search for. Unfortunately it constantly displays messages about location being turned off, often two at a time, layered on top of each other, and clicking the X on one of them sometimes fails to dismiss it. If all those location messages could be turned off this would be a nice app.

No-Frills Weather

I really like this app, but I think an even better name for it would be “No Frills Weather”, because I think it’s a niche product that would be most appealing to the kind of people who prefer more bare-bones, no-frills things.

Technical Weather Forecast without the jargon

I am a weather geek with a physics degree. I understand the weaknesses and failure of weather apps that boil weather forecasts into a single digit or a range of probabilities. The Deep Weather app is unique. It boils all the technical information into a simple, easy to understand narrative that is spot on. In the past as we’ve travelled during the winter in the American West I’ve used the NWS twitter posts to understand the trends in upcoming weather. From now on I will check Deep Weather

Ideal for volatile weather locations

Living in Oklahoma, we can have all four seasons in one week. Living in a mobile home makes OK tornado season even scarier. I especially like how there is a permanent section for watches/warnings. I can quickly verify if there is one or NONE, which helps with my peace of mind. I also appreciate the in depth Short Term descriptions because it explains what might happen and why. This is exactly what I was looking for in a weather app. I just wish there was a widget (for quicker watch/warn double c

Best weather app out there

Love that you can see the reasoning behind a forecast, in as much or as little detail as you like.

Meh

Not that great. I just now looked at it and after pulling down the screen the latest info was ten hours old! Not of much use. I’ll give it another chance.

GOOD APP!

UPDATES 3x’s DAILY! ABOUT 70% ACCURATE.!. ABOUT THE SAME NUMBERS A GOOD GAMBLER HAS!

Different type of weather app

The forecasts are text rather than graphics. Now that I’m used to it I like it. There are maps but no radar. And NO ads.

Area restrictions

Weather is restricted to areas where they have “pins”. Trying to get city specific weather, or weather is very unlikely.

Map View Is Buggy On My iPad

The map view is buggy on my iPad. When you zoom in, it only shows the western part of the U.S. The eastern U.S. is cut off. Changing your location doesn’t help. The iPhone version works as you’d expect - you can zoom in and go to any part of the map. Also, the map views are low rez and some of the views are virtually useless as a result. Zooming in doesn’t help.
