It is an amazing game just like the game on the switch; it is also outstanding. The game pretty much speaks for it self of how good the game is.

The game is fun but you can’t skip the talking . It would be more fun and less dragging . Please update it and add “ hold to skip” to story’s we can’t . Pretty sure people give up playing because of this reason.

A full Octopath experience that you can play at your own pace. Play as little or as much as you want.

Old school classic game play

Really enjoy this game. Tons of content/mechanics/stories. Don’t judge it till you complete all 3 chapters of first part of the game. After it this game just open her doors of magic, thanks to SQENIX<3 PS would be great if you add some customisations for my beloved heroes

The story, the characters, the turn-based fighting. This game is the best. If you are a FF7 or Suikoden or Trails fan, play this game! You will love it too!

Been playing off and on for a bit,I would love this to be a controller supported game! It would be a much smoother game and would deserve my 5th star.

Story chat full of moans and grunts. Need faster chat box or a skip button

The game has everything I could ask for. Love the gach system and the characters all have unique stories. If you have any bit of ADD or ADHD, it’s impossible to play this game though. Spending 30-45 minutes just summoning new units and each quest accepted has an extensive amount of wait time in between each dialogue. Again great game, but slow.

Would love some controller support though! Please!

The story is engaging, the character’s are interesting and the battle system is fun yet challenging. I’ve only completed the first story line but I can already tell this is gonna be a excellent!!! Will update later, stay tuned…

Interesting concept of a gatcha mobile game with no multiplayer. Of course Octopath’s main strength is in story telling and so far it has delivered.

Game play is fantastic and completely cures my OCTOPATH itch. It’s completely single player and all except on release lv100 npcs can be cleared with 4 star and free units. You should have a decent experience playing as FTP as long as you don’t feel the FOMO for new fancy units. However, the game could benefit a lot with a better spending option targeting dolphin players.

Add support for the backbone please

Going to keep this short. I grew up playing SE games. I’m loving the characters and overall gameplay. One change is like to see to gain that extra star: talking skips. Seems like over half the game is dialogue. Not the best idea for a mobile game. Some of us don’t have all day. Doesn’t leave much room for actual gameplay.

I’m getting error code 3004 and I can’t restart the game or go back for the title screen 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shoutout for the developers of this game it’s awesome. I never expected such a cool basic game that had a great story details and graphics. The game is awesome it self is awesome just at the start is a bit difficult to understand it and level up. But once you get used to it everything becomes easier and fun. 😄

I just finished the wealth path chapter 1 and it was amazing! Plus, no ads that pop up annoyingly when you are trying to understand the lore 10/10

Add controller support

Adding controller support would absolutely be amazing for this game. I was a big fan of Octopath Traveler on the Switch.

With the price of a summon already very high, I don’t get why the rates are so low?? the only five star I have other than ur main character was the one I was guaranteed I’m all the way level 11+ influence and have summoned over 75 times, I know it’s based on luck but this is a single player game why so serious?

One problem no controller pad or buttons on the screen

I only write reviews when the game touches my heart. This game is a must try for those that love turn based rpg. Wonderful story, great battle system, F2P and cute characters! Love every single about this!

Good looks, Good game play, Good everything.There are only 2 thing I have a problem with like movement it feels weird and the other thing is the lack of control in the start and I mean very start aka first character I was you could pick with one or like the near end of the start power money and fame like you pick one to get other then that good game

Look, When I started playing this game yesterday, I had a lot of fun. I Loved the game and even the soundtrack. But What I witness during my play through is that I couldn’t skip cutscenes, It literally wasted my time with cutscenes. It’s kinda stupid that I can skip cutscenes if my whole team dies. Please Add A Skip Button in cutscenes so it can be fast paste. Hope Y’all Understand. Thank You

If you enjoyed Octopath Traveler’s battle system, then you’ll enjoy this one’s, alongside a gripping story. The Gacha system isn’t pervasive, so it doesn’t detract from the experience. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys RPG games and an enjoyable flow/exploration game.

I’m giving the game 4 stars because of the loading the game takes for everything. When you open the game it takes almost 2 minutes for the game to start and everytime you open the menu for the gacha, influence or see the news it takes a while to load… aside from that I love the game!! First OCTOPATH game and i like it. Even though it’s a Gacha Game

You do not need to pay any money to have fun with this game and beat it. It is an amazing game with fun graphics and hours of content. It actually wastes too much of time!

I absolutely do not agree with there being a gacha system because gambling for virtual characters is not fun. Other than that, the story is pretty cool and the fact that there are so many traveler stories to read is super dope. I just hope that I can last before I move on to other games.

This game is a drug addiction, let me start with this, the last time I played a game even remotely close to this was dqix for the Nintendo ds which was also by square enix, and might I say pure nostalgia when I play it feel exactly the same. Although we have 8 players for OCTOPATH it surprisingly operates very well as far as why we have 8 lol. Btw I’m super stoked; today you guys have a compensation for whatever reason and I got my favorite character, sofia!!! My team is unstoppable now

Extremely fun game, even better than the original. My only complaint is that about less than 15 hours in, I’ve already completed the 3 main quests at lvl 35-40. I’m sure there will be more updates soon, but definitely take your time with the story.

Best game to ever hit the App Store. Bar none. No paywall (Ive bought 3 packs to support the devs and show love since it’s so phenomenal) amazing graphics, Above average story, Single player content galore, I hope games take notes of what an amazing rpg can look like on a mobile device with a very fair and friendly F2P model. Absolute masterpiece for a mobile game, If you even remotely have an interest in rpgs stop reading this and download!

But unlike Another Eden, it is much much harder to get five star characters. I haven’t received any so far and rubies (the summoning currency) are pretty slow to come by. The story is pretty well written and enjoyable. If you like these kind of games, you will like it, but I think there will be a wall for f2p players once the difficulty goes up.
