Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee App Reviews

When I brought the game on my phone which I wanted to experience on game of the console although I don’t own it sadly but instead I brought it on steam and it was only $2. I had fun playing through it and got attached to the game sadly though I got crashed in the brewery to be level. Yes multiple times the game will crash. I was playing as munch and I had a crashed when I was leaving the tunnel.

I remember having this on the original Xbox as a kid, I’m 26 now and stoked to have it on my iPad. Runs great.

I like the game a lot and the graphics are really good. The only problem is the game keeps crashing on me I hope they can fix this issue soon. It’s frustrating because you constantly have to save just to make sure you don’t lose progress but it seems others are experiencing the same issues.

please please pleaaasse patch the bugs, i can’t get munch out of vykker’s labs without it crashing out of the app. my save point is literally the little body of water right in front of the doorway and every time i try to go through it, the app dies on me. otherwise everything is great! it gives me so much nostalgia. controls are easy to use, especially since they’re similar enough to the iOS port of stranger’s wrath and i just played through that one again. pleaaassseeee do a quick lil update so

Great game and it plays just like it did on the original Xbox back in the day. Never thought I’d see it on the App Store

The only reason it’s getting a 4 is because all three games crash randomly at different parts of the game in my cases very early on in the games and I Baugh the bundle for $6.99 but all in all really great games love them too boot it isn’t working at the brewery to be it just kicks me off the game

I use to play this years ago on my Xbox 360. Finding this as iPad compatible was made my day. Took a little getting use to not having a hand held controller but man did playing it again make me smile. Please make more ODDWORLD games.

Okay so hear me out. Im playing with a backbone 2nd gen. Im as well playing with an iphone 15 pro max or whatever the beet model of it is. Im also playing on all the best graphics with the in game brightness all the way up. ZERO PROBLEMS. So far my experience has been amazing, pretty much nistolgic. So why all the complaints? Must be because people playing on older models or whatever Works AMAZING for me! Thank you for a nistolgic game for $3! Will report back with problems if any lol

I remember playing this with my mom a long time ago and it is hard but I love it! Shoutout to oddworld inhabits!

At first it’s awesome plays amazing, then… there’s a spot fairly close to the beginning, when your munch and save the fuzzles, you have to exit this tunnel after jumping into the water and every single time, the game crashes and the app closes out. I was enjoying it a lot but I guess that’s just as far as you can go unfortunately

I could take the random crashes with a lot of quicksaving as a counter measure, but there is no getting past this particular crash. Scaling the interior of the building in the named level lets me go up a 3-4 platforms but then immediately crashes on the jump to the center main platform. There’s just no more progress to be made. I tried as many things as I could to press forward but alas. Unfortunate as I was happily reliving my childhood up until this point :(

I LOVE this game, the graphics are awesome it translates great on the phone version except one critical thing. It crashes all the time and since the game doesn’t auto save sometimes you lose a lot of progress. So I’m constantly saving but it still a royal pain to be playing and suddenly your not. If the crashing issue were fixed it’s a 5 star game but at this point it’s crippling.

It is now crashing a lot. I hope the developer can update it so that it is reliable as this is a wonderful game.

Love this game but I can’t hear it

mannnn this is my favorite game ever. but in the soon to be brewery level, there’s literally one dead zone where i always crash and it’s unavoidable because i HAVE to jump there. it’s just really annoying bc ive been trying to do this for two hours straight and it constantly does this. i might need to go back a level or two but this shouldn’t even be happening. still an 11/10 game tho. but is this fixable?

Best game on the iOS store

I love love this game and grew up playing it on Xbox, while it’s great to have on my phone ( and I do have an older gen IOS 8) my game won’t go past a certain point on :Soon to be Brewery, and it’s frustrating! I was able to beat it once. I’m not sure why the game won’t let me pass these deadzones but I can’t say how many times previously it has crashed when I enter a random spot and I either need to avoid it or start two levels back. It’s frustrating because you have to always save to make sure

It’s very disappointing how often the game crashes and it doesn’t save as you play like a lot of games do. So, if you don’t actively save your game every couple of minutes you’re extremely likely to be playing the same mission over and over. I so wanted to give five stars as I LOOOVEDDD playing these games on the PS when I was younger and was very excited when I came across them in the App Store.

Acquired the original a few years back and recently stumbled across this. Two more to go.I’m sure to enjoy.

Paid for this and can’t even get anywhere because it just constantly crashes. It would be a good game if it didn’t. It’s very nostalgic and my inner kid is dying to play but I don’t really care for the nostalgia of dial up and I get that more then anything with it crashing.

Can’t make it to munch gets to exit and game glitches and kicks me out can’t get past that point

Loves this game on the Xbox. Playing on the iPhone is fun as first. Then the crashes begin, and it can happen at anytime….

Bought this game cuz I used to play it all the time in my childhood. Had crashing issues right off the bat. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Then was able to beat the first level. But now it keeps crashing when I try to enter the exit on munches first level even though I saved before entering the exit. Every time I try to go through the exit it crashes. Please fix this and I’ll change my review.
