Offender Locator App Reviews

The offender locator app needs a serious update. The last time it was updated was three years ago, and it’s showing the wrong pictures, birthdays, and names. I use this application to monitor potential hazards around my children’s school and local parks, and that purpose is negated due to inaccurate information. Locations may be correct, but when the description of the offender is a 50 year old black male named Stan but shows a picture of a 70 year white male named Donald, something is wrong.

The app does find offenders but the map keeps recentering to my location and won't allow me to actually see red dots more than a few seconds until map zooms back to my location. Didn't use to do this. The lite version also has this problem. It does list names and addresses but it doesn't have the same impact of seeing a red dot just down the street.

But you need to update more 2016 isn’t good enough

Hey—this app has been great until recently—it’s not current as far as the offender database. Please update!

I know a sex offender that I actually just found out about (he’s been registered since 2000) and he is not on here. I wonder how many others are missing in my area. I could’ve kept me $2

Ignorance is bliss but I will say this app is great for informing us who our neighbors are.

Some profiles only show a side profile. Not trying to be funny, but I would like to see the face for obvious reasons.

Great but when it shows what offense they did it just shows “;;” and nothing else.

I paid for the full version hoping to have accurate information anywhere I go especially live. Unfortunately every person on here coincidentally has the same tattoo on the left hand, same birthday, same alias, same EVERYTHING. The only thing different is the picture.

Offender one street over, sign in the yard, yet this app doesn’t show. Not impressed.

Using this app didn’t show the offender right around the corner from me.

It DOES list sex offenders in the area I live. However, many of the offender mug shots are listed over a description of another offender, many don’t match the sex or race or address. What gives?
