Great lifesaver

We have had our OMRON machine for a number of years now and it helps us monitor and keep our pressure as close to normal as possible. It has been very useful when coordinating with my iPhone. Also, I can share the results with my doctor.

Overall decent app

Set up could’ve been a little easier, however once paired, it works almost all the time to transfer information to the mobile app. And it’s convenient to be able to view all your past readings on the app as well. I am using model BP 5450. I wish Omron would make an Apple Watch app.

Tachycardia

It says that the warning tachycardia will appear when the heart rate is between 100 and 140. Mine is often higher and there is no warning.

Frustrating Bluetooth

I’ve owned two OMRON blood pressure monitors. They have both been incredibly frustrating when it comes to Bluetooth pairing and syncing. Bluetooth is a solved problem - do better.

Customer Service! Wow!!!

I have an older OMRON Blood Pressure device. It has given me a bit of syncing trouble over the years, but because of the wonderful customer service reps I always get back to it running smoothly again. So don’t despair if there is a glitch- call the super fixers at OMRON.

Very happy with the free version; needs a few fixes

I only need it for my blood pressure & it does a great job syncing to my iPhone Health app. Couldn't figure out how to get to app support, only product support. So here are my 2 issues. (I am using a BP786N) 1) I clicked EKG reminder before realizing it was a feature I couldn't use. I deleted the EKG reminder (it doesn't show in the reminder tab). I am still getting the reminder. How can I make it go away? 2) I can only set one reminder for blood pressure. Is this because I'm on the free

Great monitor

I can print out spread sheets of my numbers. Automatically syncs to my iPhone 13. I like seeing the different graphs for trends. Has helped get my bp regulated after having a heart attack.

Mostly just records the readings

The app connects pretty seamlessly with my blood pressure monitor and scale and keeps the records as I’d like. One flaw is the BMI calculation is way off now - like the app thinks I’m 9’2” tall. Customer service told me to change the batteries(!) it’s free so you get what you get, I guess.

Problem with Reports

What happened to being able to Share reports? I’ve attempted multiple times, but have not received a single email with attached report. I tried with both my husband’s (need it for his doctor tomorrow) and my data. The email addresses are correct.

High readings

Me unit was high Sat. the Drs office and again at Pt on Monday compared to today. It looks like a average is high by 23/16 don’t have a reading on my blood pressure.😔👎🏼

Works wonderfully

This is an excellent blood pressure machine. Every morning I take my BP and it gives me the result and saves it by transferring it to my phone. I can then send copies to my doctor if I wish. It’s so easy to operate and reliable well worth the money.

Update suggestion

I have readings from over 4 years and the app is getting slow to open. How about giving us some sort of way to purge old readings in mass rather than 1 at a time. Just a suggestion…

Great Blood Pressure monitor

Easy to do the basic daily blood pressure measurements. The software and graphics also do a lot of functions but require some reading of instructions - could be more intuitive, for instance some buttons are just below the edge of my iPhone screen, out of sight. Overall, very helpful, clean operation. Probably will help to keep me alive a few more years than I would have lived without it.

Works great. Syncing was a little tricky but worked great after researching on their website.

Super easy to use

Love this machine, it is easy to use and accurate. I especially like the blue tooth connection to my iPhone so I can keep a daily record of my blood pressure. This makes it very easy to share the data with my doctors.

Does what it should

Be easy to setup and use. However, latest versions keep reminding noon each day to take an EKG reading even though I have that reminder disabled. Highly annoying.

Can’t sync with ❤️ app on iPhone.

I had always been able to sync with the phone app and then into the ❤️ health app. Not anymore.

Connecting errors

Sometimes loss connecting and hard for joints app and device

Bluetooth must be connected each time

On iPhone 11 Pro Max I open system, push the OMRON Bluetooth button, click on the iPhone to search to the OMRON device, wait for it to connect, click home on the iPhone, start the app, go to the BP/EKG menu, click start on machine to shut off the Bluetooth search, and click start again to take the BP/EKG reading. Must reconnect before the next reading. OMRON app should have a macro for this. I have paired many times, I do this procedure to get the EKG readings.

Bluetooth is a must

This Omron BP monitor is the same brand. My doctor uses very accurate. I think I just got this one today. It was easy to set up and it took a reading that I actually believe is true recommended -G

Excellent device for monitoring your heart

I have been noncompliant with taking care of my heart and blood pressure for a while. This device has helped me and my husband get on the right track to a healthy heart.

Its okay but

Um I do not carry this phone around and have a watch so it looks like im not active and only took 60 steps. I have a smart watch and wish it could link to my fibit but other than that its okay.

Model hem 7156T

Will not sync with app via blue tooth. Please advise. I bought this model based explicitly on the fact it was bloothtooth-ready and would sync with your app.

Just a heartbeat away from being great.

Been using this app to record my BP for past few weeks…while it connects well to record my BP….I am frustrated that I can only see my BP IF I sync it to phone. My wife wanted to connect her phone to app as well but the process is so tedious and frustrating YOUR BP GOES HIGH AS YOU WORK THROUGH ALL THE CRAP YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER….getting your email and password to be recognized by this app is a real problem. Come on, OMRON, and get someone to work on this app to make it simple.

CHANGE IT BACK

You ruined this app! My Doctor dose NOT care about your report! All they want are the numbers! You have made it difficult for me to screen shot a monthly report and send it to them. I would not recommend this app to anyone at all now! Once this was perfect now you think you know better than your customers!

Accurate

For home blood pressure, I have always used OMRON. First the wrist, now the standard cuff and meter. I have always been pleased with its durability and accuracy.

Okay 👍 looks like service is restored

Okay 👍 I’ve changed my rating back to a 5. I used your blood pressure risk cuff multiple times daily and I find it useful, helpful, and reasonably accurate based upon the other 2 that I also use. Recently, the cuff was working but I couldn’t add the BP readings not even manually although they were accurate. Thanks for getting things back online.

Another bad update

I have had this app for over 2 years and every time they do an update it performs poorly. When I first installed everything worked flawlessly. Now it does not upload the information to my apps or from the device. It wants to keep going to the tutorial.

Great machine and app

I have used this for just over a month and am supper placed with both. App and machine are easy to set up. The app does not even need to be open to sink.

So easy to use

This app is so easy to use and has helpful features. No setup involved, just plug and play. When I go to my cardiologist all I have to do is pull up the app and he can see how my blood pressure has been since our last visit. Love it.

This BP machine out shines all others. I have had several BP machines over the years & this one is accurate & easy to use. I am 77 and was able to set up without assistance. I would & have recommend it to others.

Slow to sync, the screen to update your weight is upside down (new entries on bottom of page). Blood pressure works fine.

It couldn’t be easier too use.

Just put the cuff on, press a button and your done. Also the charting app is super.

At first had trouble connecting to my I phone but now it is working flawlessly!

Was Great

Did exactly what I wanted. Now, if you’re using an iPhone - your interrupted by aPremium content screen that you can’t close. So, you have to reboot the app while trying to take a reading, which inevitably fails.

You broke the health app sync again

Since the last update six days ago nothing is syncing to Health, again.
