OneCast - Xbox Remote Play App Reviews

When I first downloaded this app is was tremendous! Even when I played Fortnite with my keyboard and mouse I was fun I felt like I was using a gaming pc but i was not!

I’ll like the display to cover all the screen to play FC25 or Forza Horizon 5 in the best condition

By far the best way to play Xbox Cloud Gaming. It’s seamless, fast, and the image quality and latency are unmatched.

I’ve tried just about every solution there is to stream my Xbox to other screens so I can play while my wife is using the TV, including this same app years ago, and I was dissatisfied with the performance of all of them. But an online forum post suggested the performance of this app had improved, so I gave it another try and I was blown away. It works SO MUCH BETTER than it used to. I just gamed for an hour, Call of Duty and Forza Horizon, with NO lag, stuttering, artifacting, or pixelization

I can play all of my game but the ones like madden I can’t play

Is there a way to filter to only owned games on the Apple TV like you can on the iPhone version?

This app is amazing. I feel so much more excited to game with my controller on the go with zero to no lag. Really worth it.

Idk if this app came from heaven or what but I play game pass on my iphone because I don’t have an xbox and it suckedddd. Id have to log in every time i played but it would act like im not even signed in and it would be a coin toss whether or not it worked. It was litterally so frustrating. I hated it. It’s not very easy to use or get used to but it is neat and cool. But 15 dollars! Come on! I mean its probably worth it but I’m a cheap guy soooo yeah I like the app though because there is no alternative options

As someone who actually used Xbox casting for years for my computer and phone until they recently changed it casting on their website truly was difficult for me. But after doing my research I found this app and it is AMAZING!!!! not only can I stream games from my Xbox like the Xbox app feature but cloud gaming runs so smoothly I can be far from home and still play games. Playing cod, fort, and rainbow six siege runs amazing and I’m happy I found an app that’s actually really useful

Thank you for updating this app to support the Series X! I just tested it out on Wifi while using a Backbone controller. Excellent performance and totally worth the money.

I never write reviews but was just so caught off guard that the app finally received an update after 2 years of inactivity. Finally I can play my latest games without the need of a controller. I did not see this update coming but it is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼

After patiently waiting, the support has finally been added! Again, this app is worth the money. In my household, even with my son streaming Netflix and my wife working online, I am still able to seamlessly stream my Xbox Series X to my Apple TV with no noticeable lag at all. Thank you all so much for releasing a fully fleshed out app free of any bugs!

Actually works really good on my Apple TV and XBOX SERIES X. Xbox is on Ethernet, Apple TV is one WiFi. No lag for me.

I love this app but everytime I use it now. It starts to make a loud buzzing noise. Could you fix it please.

I downloaded 4 years ago and it wasn’t for me. After having a kid now and one that won’t go to sleep with any sort of lights on, this app has completely been worth it. Being able to play on my phone screen in the house from anywhere else in the house until he falls asleep is worth it

So here’s the deal I’ve been using this app for two weeks now and I love it it’s the best I can ever have are used to have to just settle for the freaking Xbox app but 1 problem make it to where you can take it anywhere you want outside your house and play on the road because I tried to do it when I was going with a friend and didn’t work and I was very upset so fix it that’s it that’s it bye

Just if you're buying this it only works on Xbox One, not X/S.

I use to play my XB1X games and all BC titles on my iPad

Currently not compatible with Series X. Worked wonders for my old One X (even has better resolution than the streaming service from the Xbox app, and less lag too!) but now that I moved on to current-gen, I’m sad to see there’s no Series X support…yet (hopefully).

This app is awesome! I can now play my xbox games anywhere in my house on my Ipad. Works flawlessly, even over my wifi. Hand down the best app I’ve purchased!

A couple connection issues with my macbook but when it is working its great. Idk if its just me but the other features in the tabs dont work.

I was gotta rate it later but when I click not now, out of nowhere the app stopped working and wouldn’t connect to my Xbox. Please fix it

I started using the beta for Xbox X-Cloud, it lags and skips so much it makes the game frustrating. I am glad this app exists. I can still play my Xbox games in the home, with having the tv on.

This is an absolutely fantastic streaming app for the Xbox One. However, the option to enable casting to other devices has been removed entirely on the Series X console. Really sad to see it go.

This app is great however it doesn’t support Xbox series x console please update this app to support it can’t play my 360 game library anymore without it and also make it work with data this will be amazing.. thank you

It keeps coming with an error code and there is no way that I can fix it and my 12 dollars is gone I WANT IT BACK

App still needs work, playing on the elite controller 2, there’s really, REALLY, bad input lag on the start & select button.

It was really good at first but now it just keeps on disconnecting, I did everything and it still doesn’t work
