onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS App Reviews

It is my primary offroad app. Really phenominal, expecially offline. OnX support is beyond excellent. No hassle, instant response and personable customer service reps. There are a lot of off road apps but if you dont have on x offroad, hunt or backpack, your missing out. The ability to identify the land your on, eapecially overlanding, this is invaluable.

I have been using OnX for almost a year and have been loving it for Off-Roading!

We use OnX throughout our ranch to mark our trails and other areas on the ranch. It makes it so convenient for our family members to be able to get around the ranch confidently and safely. We couldn’t do without it.

I’m not a huge fan of technology especially learning new apps. OnX has been great at being user friendly. I’ve traveled thousands of miles using it and do not regret one bit.

I tried On X and its competitors pretty extensive. Came back to On X because it’s easy-to-use yet has all the important features you need to research, plan, and use the app on-the-fly in the field. I love having ONE integrated map layer that provides all the key info I need. Some powerful features like trail difficulty color-coding on the map is amazing. I love this app but it seems the removed the feature to navigate via Waze and google like really guys common I’m already paying y’all let me use my preferred navigation app Update: after seeing the developers response I went back and found what they were talking about. While I like the old way better this isn’t terrible. I like using Waze to get to the trail then, I’ll usually switch to the off road app once I’m on it. Still a great app and very much enjoy it

Highway was closed tonight on my way home but OnX got me home safely. So easy to use. Thank you!

After not having used the app in a while, I pulled it up to look up a route I was interested in. The app now just loads the splash screen and never makes it further. Have deleted + reinstalled the app, restart phone, etc to no avail. Is the mobile app not supported anymore? Gave two stars because I enjoyed it in the past, but it appears useless now
