Fantastic resource for physicians. Gives great answers with cited references to challenging clinical cases.

I query this app many times per week, on wide ranging topics. In addition to helpful answers to my questions, the references allow for rabbit hole exploration when desired.

Subject: Verification for non-U.S. physician — NPI alternative? Dear OpenEvidence support team, I am a licensed physician practicing in China and would like to register for OpenEvidence. I do not have a U.S. NPI. Could you please let me know whether you accept alternative forms of professional verification (for example: Chinese medical license, hospital employment letter, or institution email confirmation)? If so, what documents and format do you require? Thank you

Quick and concise

Very useful for medical research and work — it brings together all the useful primary literature I don’t have time to search through in one place, and answers my questions with evidence from these.

Fantastic app! Provides accurate and very helpful answers for an enormous variety of clinical questions. Incredibly helpful to support my patient management. I didn’t notice any hallucinations so far - this makes Open Evidence much more trustworthy than other apps, including ChatGPT and other competitors. Sources including guidelines are very well selected and the list of used references is fantastic. Really a game changer to improve the daily work flow of a physician like me!

Great app! It’s super easy to use and super educational, and i always get quick, helpful answers. It also gives sources if you wanna dive deeper. it’s honestly become my go-to for medical stuff. highly recommend it to anyone who wants a bit of peace of mind or honestly a bit more info on everyday medical questions.

You can’t search keywords of prior conversations within the app, can only do it in the web version. Unclear why app developers left this out.

When it first came out, it was amazing. However for the last few months, the searches have been very slow, with frequent crashes. Today it seems to be unusable, causing my screen to flicker whenever I open this app.
