Excellent universal and classic VPN application, where developers do not collect user data. Please add Russian language for the comfort and convenience of users.

The toggle switch doesn’t look like a toggle switch anymore. Small but annoying.

The little oval that surrounds the “on/off” switch is missing after I updated to iOS 26. Without that oval, you can’t really tell if the switch is in the left or right position. This makes it so the only indication of whether the connection is on or off is if the button is grey or green, which is probably isn’t good for color blind people.

I think it's time for ios users to get an update for OpenVPN. After upgrading our phones to ios 26, we heared nothing from OpenVPN team untill now. Also I can't find OpenVPN in the "Background app refresh" menu of the ios. It automaticaly disconects everytime I lock my phone. It is so annoying.

I updated to v3.4.2 and can no longer make a connection. Nothing happens, just spins. I have made no changes to my connection profile. Please fix asap. Update: I tried rebooting my iPad and the app now works. I upgraded the star rating to 5, as when it works, this has been a great app. Thank you to support for responding, but the problem is now fixed.

As of the 3.4.2 update I am unable to connect with either of my profiles. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the profiles changed passwords and verified that I am able to login from the device otherwise. I also verified that the profiles work on non-iOS devices.

I have using the OpenVPN iPhone client for years with very little problem. As I upgraded to 3.4.2, I started to have problem. First I got the warnings for unsupported config, but the connection was made. But no traffic was going through after the connection was established. I thought I would need to remove those unsupported configs, so I did and re-import the profile. Now the warnings are gone. But still no network traffic after connection was made with my home VPN server. I hope next

Installation and operation are straightforward and easy.

There is a way to save password but when connecting I have to append password with otp code that is generated by another app. So it would be helpful if there is an option to add security code (otp) textfield and when connecting that security code gets appended to the password.

Everything’s cool, work, and stable.

Would give 5-star but no hooks for on/off shortcuts. Rather clumsy to do by drilling into iOS settings.

Works well while connected but it disconnects without an alert that it’s been disconnected. Why the constant disconnect without automatically reconnecting

I love this vpn and it’s really good

We have various mobile devices (Android, Apple, phones and tablets). We also have an ASUS RT-AX88U router and fixed IP address. Prior to this, we had a dynamic IP address. OpenVPN works well. Throughput acceptable for videos. Well done!

I am connecting to my DD-WRT home router running OpenVPN server with this app and it works flawlessly. I just installed my client certificate, entered my client password, and Openvpn connects to my home perfectly. No issues so far. I will report back if i find myself in need of new features or the latest and greates in security (which this app may or may not already have). All in all its works great on the iPhone and integrates very well with iOS. Thanks developers!

Good app for all version iOS

I have been using this to connect to my VPS for personal email and file access for over four years now. It has worked every time and OpenVPN profile management is painless. It’s great to see such a direct to the point no nonsense VPN client application. Much appreciated to the developers!

I use this with 4096bit self generated certs on all my devices, everywhere in the world, on multiple udp/tcp ports. It’s the only way to be safe!

You have to love an application that does exactly what it’s supposed to do without a lot of nonsense. That’s what this app does. It’s reliable, stable, sturdy, and fast! Well done!

Stable and auto reconnects if dropped. Fast connecting and minimum interruption. Never bothered me with any ads thing. Only sad thing is that it does not available in China Apple App Store.

Hello, after successful connection, vpn will be automatically disconnected, and it will be stable after repeated connection for many times. It's unclear whether it's an app problem or a mobile phone problem.

If you’re using an OpenVPN server (router, desktop or otherwise). This is a fabulous client and it’s free. I don’t see anything to complain about other than Apple should incorporate this into their iOS natively and provide support for Level 2 routing. Can’t thank the devs enough for this brilliant free solution. Apple WAKE UP and stop being a follower all the time and copying what’s gaining popularity like a leech, sometime be an innovator and lead!

The two actions, connect and disconnect, actually bring up the OpenVPN interface every time. If I want to connect to vpn when I open some app, the OpenVPN just pop up again and again causing the original app unusable. These two actions should function silently in the background, I think.

Before the last update, the program was working great, but unfortunately the last update, I suffer from the disconnection of the program

This app even sometimes automatically disconnects my vpn even thought I don’t even TOUCH the app! I don’t know why it is soooo hard even to connect! Sometimes I wait for HOURS for it to load! The result? NOTHING!!!??? WHY!!!??? And Roblox requires vpn, so there is a low chance to play Roblox! VPN doesn’t work so well.
