10 Positive User Reviews for Oral Contraceptives

Good App for OCP

There are so many birth control pills on the market. This app provides great information only about OCPs. There is a handy chart for contraceptive methods' effectiveness. The chart lists methods other than birth control pills (i.e. Depo, Patch, NuvaRing, IUDs). Perhaps this app could be expanded to include other contraceptive methods since many women use methods other than OCP. A reference tool that includes other methods besides "the pill" would make this a 5 star app!

Just what I needed!

I'm an ob/gyn and have been looking for an app just like this. This provides comprehensive info on OCPs in an easy-to-use format. Things I like: The thorough list of generic/equivalent pills (for all those times a patient asks for a pills just like .....) and the efficacy chart that will be great for counseling patients.

Great!!!

I'm a public health nurse and this has helped me a lot! It would be great to have other forms of birth control (depo, nuva ring, nexplanon, etc). Overall, this is great!

Good app but don't buy if you wrk n canada

I was so excited & bought this app. In their first info paragraph they state 'ocps in the US.'. Kickn myself. The ocp i need to find an equivalent isn't listed. Plz add Canadian meds. Iwork n both countries.

Great Resource

As someone who prescribes OCPs for women, I find this to be a great reference tool. It gives you the brand & generic names, phasing, cycle and equivalent pills. You can also arrange by estrogen dose, progestin type etc. They also threw in a contraceptive efficacy chart. My only complaints however, are that the app has not been updated since 2011, which makes me wonder if the information is up to date. Also, the interface needs to be updated and optimized to keep up with current technology. T

Please update

GREAT APP but as a gynecologist who prescribes oral contraceptives daily please please update this. I feel that generic OCPs are added to the market so frequently it would be wonderful to have this periodically updated.

New interface is great

I've always found this app to be a fast pocket resource. The redesign has made it more attractive and, more importantly, easier to use.

Great app but needs updating

Please update your list! There’s new stuff out there, and I use this app all the time to guide my decisions on which pill to give.

Great app - needs update

As a women’s health NP, I use this app all the time to navigate the endless sea of generic OCPs. It is quick and easy to use. I love that I can sort by progestin type, name, etc. The problem is that there are multiple new generics out there and the app hasn’t been updated to reflect this. It would also be nice to be able to make personalized notes within the app.

Great app—please update!

Have been using for years but really needs content update!
