I can hear
Went for a hearing test today because I thought My hearing was getting worse. But it’s my old hearing aids, got new programmable ones and my hearing is so much better.

Awesome, but trying to get familiar with them in my ears. Was sick last 5 days and didn’t use the in bed. Feeling better today.

Pairing with iPhone.
Issues with pairing Zeal with iPhone and iPad. Too many issues to explain! I’m tech savvy and having difficulty in keeping it paired, what about poor non-tech customers!

Good product
I have been using Otican HA and Companion for three years. No problems and I like the features. Definitely improves quality of life. Price is my only problem. I’ll have to replace them with something less pricey.

I am quite happy that the app is not complex, yet renders the ability to make changes in various environments. I am also pleased that the email support is typically prompt and not dismissive.

This app is absolutely awesome!! It turns my hearing aids into ear buds for my phone, YouTube and anything else i want to listen to. An absolute must for those with hearing aids.

Won’t stay connected
I have my hearing aids spontaneously disconnect and have to reboot my iPhone to get them to find the hearing aids. Dang annoying!!
NEEDS CAR PLAY or WIDGET
Needs a simple application for driving. Having to reach for phone to minimize wind sound is very distracting. Additionally, being able to have an iOS Lock Screen widget to quickly adjust hearing aid setting.
Make sure your hearing aids are connected to only 1 device.
I find the app is useful in switching between different programs and volume. But then I couldn’t connect to the app for awhile unless I power off and on my iPhone. This was very annoying and I followed all the recommended steps in the app but to no avail. It took a few emails with support to finally figure out that the hearings aids can only be connected to 1 device at a time. Kristian was very good on finally recommending that. I think that point should be labeled clearly in the to do section
Meh!
I have resolved a problem keeping my app functioning with help from the VA . That function seems to work well.
The actual hearing is giving me some problems as compared to my previous pair. I’m experimenting trying to hear more crisply. That’s why the 3 stars. I don’t know I’m not the problem so I’ll continue to effort to make it better.
Issues with Connection
I’m been wearing these aids for most a year. I’m having trouble with them reading the time that I’m wearing them. It’s always saying wear them more often and we can monitor your usage. I wear them every day. So I having to delete amp and reinstall. Please fix Oticon…

Poor Performance
The app is difficult to keep connected to the phone and very slow to update wearing time and to react to inputs.
Spent 5000.00
I spent 5000.00 dollars, worked great for 11 months. Then the left one stops working. Went through the trouble shooting routine still not working. Calling audiologist tomorrow, I will update this.

Once the hearing aid was examined by the technician. She advised it would take 10 days and they will notify. Well it’s been 15 days and no notification.
Slow connection
I contacted the seller in mid October 2023 informing them the Bluetooth connectivity was slow and sometimes I have to restart the app several times to get it to connect with my hearing aids at all. They responded they are currently working to make it connect faster. Now in mid April 2024 there have been no improvements. I sometimes have to fiddle with this 4 or 5 minutes to get it to connect. This is very frustrating. I wish I had never upgraded to this version. I am very disappointed with the

Buggy and unreliable
You would think that an app which accompanies devices you pay thousands of dollars for would be robust and reliable but that is not the case. The “features” of the app only work a few days a week. While Oticon acknowledges the problems, they are complacent (at best) about addressing and remediating the issues - very disappointing!
