45 Positive User Reviews for Paceline: Rewards for Exercise
The app used to be ok. But the amount of points needed to redeem rewards has gone up significantly
I love the idea of rewards for being active. Nothing huge but just a little something! When I first started you could earn points for small gift cards to stores like Nike, Target and Starbucks - things I actually used. Even though they were still small denominations it was still motivating. Whatever they did to the reward system now is horrible - it’s small discounts to nothing I want. Unfortunately I’ll probably delete the app unless it changes back.
This app used to have rewards you’d actually want, like money towards Target, Starbucks, and Amazon. Now the rewards are a small amount or a percentage off a full purchase. Deleted the app after using for 4 years.
Thank you for listening to feedback and bringing back gift cards.
Coming up on 2 years of waiting for the new credit card to come out, additionally now the app signs me out all the time and FACE ID doesn’t work at all even though it is enabled.
Such kind and caring individuals offering customer service service on this app. This app also encourages working out and earning rewards while exercising.
I didn’t notice my phone disconnected from my watch after an update, and wasn’t getting updates on the app. I contacted Paceline and they helped me right away, 5pm on a Friday night! I added pictures from my watch and they were able to manually update my eMinutes, which helped continue my streak.
Like many other commenters, it was simple to earn a $1 Amazon gift card every week. Now, with the points system, it takes much much longer. This is something I can deal with as it’s essentially free gift cards. If you need help, social media support is non-existent but they respond to emails very quickly.
I like Paceline. Can you add more Charties besides the American art association if it’s not a problem. I was just curious?
I really live this app but the rewards aren’t like they were when I first started using this app… I really liked the Starbucks reward as it was motivation to reward myself every couple of weeks. Just venting. Still love the app though!
Easy to use, but in the last year the rewards have become much less meaningful. I was much more motivated to use the app when Amazon gift card was a weekly deal, and Starbucks reward ($5) was monthly or so…
The only thing better than losing weight during the holidays is getting extra money to do it. Paceline card rewards you with the best unlimited cash back rate in the market if you can achieve exercise targets. I’ve hit the target every week and feel really happy about the results both financially and healthwise.
I have been a Paceline user since day one. I referred so many friends to join so they could also work out and enjoy perks. I’m quite disappointed because ever since they came out with the credit card, the rewards have gone down hill. It’s discouraging because to get the good rewards you must sign up for their credit card which isn’t something everyone can go ahead and do. I wish they would’ve kept rewards the same for non credit card holders and did something new for those with the card.
I earn boosted cash back just for doing the workouts I’d already be doing! This card is quickly becoming the one I reach for over others, in general. Plus, the rewards in the app alone are a great way to discover new brands and get discounts and samples!
Great app been using it for over a year. It’s annoying though they stopped offering amazon as a weekly reward…this is why I use it…if that’s going to happen I won’t use the app on the weeks Amazon is not offered as a reward option, please bring that back and also the larger reward for Starbucks.
Super easy to use. Love the very real rewards for my active lifestyle. I start my week making sure to track my activity - a great way to manage my at to an active lifestyle.
Inspiration every day! Just get started and you will be hooked on so many different ways to be active, exercised and healthy. The rewards are amazing, the best one: your own GOOD HEALTH💫
I like the app, but I’m pretty sure they don’t actually give referral bonuses
I can’t view my virtual credit card information, help?
It took like a week or two for me to get a reward I liked but I have gotten like 10$ in Amazon gift cards it’s usally a 1$ a week and 10$ in target gift cards 5$ each time with lots of other great gifts cards
I have been using this app for almost a year now and it pushes me to work out every single week. It great to look forward to a little reward every week!!
Closest I’ve gotten to getting paid to work out I love it!
I’m not even sure obsessed can describe how much I love this app!! You simply get rewards for your workout minutes!!
I love that this app keeps track of my activity and rewards me for it.
I Love this app I already work out and to get perks for doing so is a bonus 🤩
Who knew you could earn fabulous gifts/rewards for doing something you’re going to do anyway - what an awesome concept! I’m sure Paceline also serves as a fantastic motivator for someone developing a workout routine. Thank you, Paceline!
Amazon gift codes are not available when you hit a 4 week streak but you can get $5 to Target for the 4 week streak reward and then on week 5 you can return to collecting Amazon gift cards.
I'm appreciative for an actual app that pays out like it says it does. However I'm 48weeks in and I miss the confetti old layout that let me see each day what minutes I complected. Some how it all changed with the last updated.
I signed up, knowing I should be able to keep a few weeks streak alive.I am currently on week streak 4 and the rewards jumped up to $5! I’m hoping the Trent of increased value on gift cards continues!
Even though the rewards aren’t that significant, this app is one way for me to be consistent and motivated in working out because of the streaks and the lil incentives
Cool concept, but I am constantly having to reconnect my device to the app because it doesn’t communicate with Fitbit. According the the FAQs this is a problem that dates back to 2019, and is still not fixed.
My app as not been working fir 3 weeks now. I am not sure if this is the new update or not, but it wont keep track of previous week
Love love love this app! It’s definitely motivated me to be more active and the rewards are great! I’ve chosen the Amazon and Starbucks rewards so far.
Would love you too have a few more great vendors ie… Dutch Bros…
4 weeks with minimum 150 minutes at an active heart rate. There is no way around it and I love it. I cannot sleep with 3 minutes legt to make a goal. The rewards are a bonus.
I enjoy the app and the rewards are nice, it would be nice if you could use the Pandora trial more than once or if some of the subscription based awards were for current members—even if it was just a couple bucks off a month.
Great app to use very easy and don’t need to keep it open to register your Apple Watch
This keeps me motivated to workout each week. Amazon, Starbucks and target are fav redemption.
love the $5 starbucks or target gift cards every 4 weeks and how easily this app connects to my apple watch activity!
I work a job where I’m always on the move. The minutes that I should have I don’t. It’s not tracking or recording all the mins I walk or move. So I don’t know what’s going on. Please take a look at it. That would be great.
So you do get gift cards but the first three weeks are $1 and the 4th week is $5. I like to do it and it motivates me, but I can see how that’s a disappointment to others.
4 Negative User Reviews for Paceline: Rewards for Exercise
Thought you could earn rewards through this app… Seems to be more of a discount of products they promote.
I used to love this app! The Amazon, Starbucks, and other gift cards (even though they were for small amounts) were a great motivator. They also had awards where you could donate to charitable organizations which I loved. Now the only rewards are for the Paceline marketplace. Even if you earn a gift card amount…you still have to pay (for example, they’ll give you a discounted price if you use a certain amount of points…not possible to pay for an item fully with points even if you have a ton save
This app used to be great, used to get weekly rewards and gift cards. Then they switched and started offering even less gift cards. Now they switched to a points system and you need a crazy amount of points to get any sort of gift card and they are deleting points if you’ve had them for too long making it virtually impossible to be able to use the points to redeem a gift card. Been thinking about deleting the app since they are making it more and more difficult to use.
I joined this app maybe two or three years ago. At first the rewards were incredible. I was able to get a $5 target or Starbucks gift card every couple weeks. Now all of the rewards are completely useless. Really disappointing. The app used to be so much better!
