Packr Travel Packing List App Reviews

I travel a few times per year so I am not a huge traveler. But I did not find this app user friendly. Maybe it just didn’t suit my needs but I’m not impressed.

Very basic packing list. It is good to include power adapters, health insurance card, but neglects things like an umbrella, hat and jacket and small scissors. Also …for a long trip it suggested 15 shirts …which is ridiculous. I take no more than 5 shirts even if going for months. Clothes can be washed. I don’t see any reason to pay for this app. It’s ok I suppose if you don’t already have a packing list of your own. There are many better packing lists for free on websites.

I use this app for every trip I take! Perfectly organized and easy to use! The only reason I gave four stars is because the local attractions are not so local! A trip to the Bahamas brings me activities to do near Greece!

This app is well designed and thought out. The ability to customize the existing lists as well as make your own is perfect. There are a few things that would make it a five star app for me: the ability to add notes to custom items, so they appear each time; the ability to identify custom items by gender; being able to filter a trip list by person, so I can view only my items; being able to set the number of items and recurring notes for items that are pre-populated to the default lists.

Love this app. It really helps me prepare and pack for trips!

Great app. Been using it for years though only travel a few times a year. It's really easy and simple. Maybe a little too simple at times, but not worth any true disappointment. I did purchase the subscription and have no regrets in doing so.

Always packed and re-packed and fretted over what I was missing. Packed everything but the kitchen sink and forgot underwear one trip. Smh. This app is like therapy for packing anxiety. And a side bonus is I have a history of my trips!!!

Best app ever I could not figure out where to start with packing so I just went on tiktok and conveniently saw this app and it was very helpful I probably would have forgotten half of the stuff

Been using this for every trip for years. I always felt like I was forgetting something when I went on trips and this removes all of that anxiety. I figure as long as I have everything on my Packr list I’ll be fine.

This now has a feature that lets you print and share your packing list!! That was my only critique and they’ve fixed it! Great for coordinating the packing for a family trip between parents. Thank you!

Excellent app that I use when going on trips both big and small. It is editable to your preference and covers every aspect of a trip. Definitely a must have app for any traveler. You will wonder how you made it all this time without it.

I love packing and I travel a lot in the summer so this app has been really helpful. I love have you can delete,add, or even add the total number of items (ex. Clothes-5)over all I love this app would totally recommend it 😁

Great and necessary app for travel

A “laundry” option would be nice. I don’t need 15 shirts, 15 socks, and 15 pairs of panties for a 2-week trip, if I have access to a washer and dryer. Other than that it’s pretty good!

I downloaded this app and it didn’t work for me at first. I contacted support and had a fix within an hour, which is unheard of for me in past experiences. The app is great too!

I love using this app when I’m going on a trip and trying to keep myself organized. It’s also easy for the whole family to use. But I wish premium didn’t cost so much or I would get it.

Sometimes there's no WiFi or mobile internet access and it's still like to see my packing list or to do items

I love this app. I travel ALOT. it helps me know what I need to pack and what the weather will be so I pack accordingly. I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone. Especially if you travel as much as me 😊

I have been looking for an app like Packr, to help me organize my frequent trips. The search is over; Packr is an excellent app, user friendly and custom made lists are easy to make. Thank you Packr!!

You should be able to choose your gender and if you are a kid or not.

I downloaded this app awhile ago and have never had a reason to leave it. It’s a reliable app that I use for each and every trip. Always works for me.

This app is amazing, but I wish there was a pets option.

It makes the list for you, and all you have to do is set quantity and delete certain items. I didn’t buy premium because I don’t need it’s features, but it seems ok.

Love this app for packing, but it does randomly delete certain items sometimes from my packing list unless I label them as something else.

I paid for the premium version on my iPad but the App Store on my iPhone isn’t showing that purchase.

Customize check list and create new categories is what makes this app worth it. However NEEDs Reminder Alerts.

It won’t let you customize weather from Celsius. I do love the other customization items that’s the ONLY putting 4 instead of 5. If they could fix that it’s genius!

I love this app. I use it for all of my trips. There are so many great features. And it’s great without the upgrade, but I HIGHLY recommend it. You are definitely getting your money’s worth.

This app is a huge game changer when it comes to trips! We travel to our second home very often and I almost always forget something! Very nice to have it out and organized for me digitally!!

Love it but I hate IT TELLING ME TO YSE PACR PREMIUM. Tourist suggestions are nice tho.

Should be allowed to do more without the premium. Other than that it’s a great app! Works as directed in the description and as showed in the pictures! Much better than the other ones for free in the App Store! 😁😆😁

Like the categories and the multi-destination feature (paid version). Surprised to see fundamentals missing, like being able to edit entries once created, move items from one category to another, or to apply due dates for the todo list.
