Didn’t think I would like this app as much as I do but it’s fantastic! It forces you to take the time and plan out your project for each part of your painting. Dev suggestion: Instead of using the ‘bookmark’ feature of a painting step to track progress, maybe make a small radio button or a slide step to count that step as done. I want to bookmark a paint step to return to it, not necessarily to track progress.
The only thing I can critique about this app. Is that it needs an IPad version, a gradient option for shifting color paints, and a place to enter the hex codes for colors for custom entries. Other then that, it’s near perfect and I use it all the time.
Saw this being used on Facebook. Legit sick app so far! Can’t wait to see what else I can do with it.
I have used other to-do list apps, but none catered directly to a painters needs. This app is a great tool for any hobby painter.
Easy to use. Once you've played with it a bit to familiarize yourself with the app it's quick to input your painting information as well.
This is just what I needed to help with my painting and remembering what I used. I would like to see more paint options added as well as maybe some possible color combos.
Excellent app. I got it just to keep track of my paint collection. I ended up transcribing all of my recipes over too. Highly customizable, powerful and convenient.
I've been hunting for such an app, great job. Could you please update for iPhone 6 and larger sizes? An iPad support wouldn't hurt either :).
Sad that i paid $4 for an mini paint app that doesnt track your paint collection.
This app has helped me get over my “color mixing anxiety” - I like being able to keep all my mixing notes in one place. However, I’ve noticed there are colors missing from some of the brands, specifically The Army Painter.
I actually made a video about this for my YouTube channel. It’s been nice, a little clunky at first trying to figure it out but once you have it rolling it’s beautiful.
The app has potential, but the interface is clunky, and it has not been updated with GW contrast paints. Also, there is no way to store your inventory of paints.
