The best app for tracking Air quality, Temperature and Humidity.
It helps me a lot š
Quickly and clearly gives us the local air quality. I use it every day.
Knowing my months for allergy, this allows picking a sensor nearby and configuring for PM10 particle size which is synominous with pollen. Instead of generic estimated pollen reading for an entire region, once per day, Iām getting actual readings near my house by the hour that is corresponding with my allergies.
Paku is doing the best that it can with very limited distribution of PurpleAir sensors⦠If the U.S. Govt./Weather Apps/Etc⦠are going to just use PurpleAir data, maybe they could chip in?? Plume is a joke. Think of what we could do if these sensors were everywhere? Paku is in place and has the best interface to take it to the next level.
I am really thankful for this app and the indie developer. It makes checking my Purple Air Zen readings easy to understand and gives me a quick, precise overview. I definitely will continue to subscribe to Paku!
Paku is a great resource for me. Iām an aerial photographer and air quality is very important. Paku along with other resources are a big part of my decision process when scheduling a flight. I also use Paku to guide me in outdoor activities.
I like being able to tell not only the air quality but also the temperature. We live quite a distance from where other apps tell the weather and Paku twos need mine.
Really enjoying this App
After update to iOS 26 app crashes or shows wrong map location
I have allergies and this site is invaluable got finding out when it is safe for me to go outside and exercise.
Used to work, but now it crashes upon opening (ipad). Tried the uninstall/reinstall - no luck.
Gives accurate air quality readings from Purple air.
This air quality app helps with understanding the air in your neighborhood so you know if kids can go outside.
I used this app a while back, and I am so pleased to see how far itās come. It works very well and is very pleasing to use (visually and functionally) vs. Purple Air. Itās much easier to customize and decipher based on your needs. You can also have it less cluttered when you zoom in and out, which is great. I use this app a lot lately due to the forest fire smoke around me, itās a life saver! I appreciate the wonderful support team and their help, so grateful to have this app available to use. T
The best way to view purple air sensors. If I had friends, Iād recommend it to all of them. And I know these same imaginary friends would then recommend this app to other imaginary friends at which point weād be at least 3 degrees of imaginary separation away from me.
I downloaded this app a few days ago because of the wildfires in Eastern Oregon/Western Idaho and I'm amazed at how accurate and precise it is with these sensors. The DEQ only has one or two sensors in my area but using Paku, I'm able to get a much more accurate idea of how the air quality REALLY is. The ONLY thing that I would like to see with this are different map layers and the wind directions on the map view. If youre concerned about air quality, especially during wild fire season, this
My go-to app for AQI
High-quality, pretty design, and artsy, homegrown feel. I love it! The alerts feature doesnāt seem to always work completely without glitches, but love that you added it and sure it will keep getting better! Thank you for this wonderful app!
Thanks so much for the excellent app, our family uses it all the time. The best air quality visualization I have found.
I love purple air, especially doing wildfire season. And I look looking at the air and the rest of the world also. But it doesnāt seem to be working right today. I am 23 miles away from the forest fire and it has been quite smoky here. But the dot near my tiny town shows green and that it is at 20. But reading the text it says air quality is 158. That is a big difference. I live in Northern California and I looked up to Oregon where I know there are a lot of fires, and showing green today also.
I didnāt even know the purple air sensor showed temperature and humidity until I got Paku. Itās so easy to check. This app does its job quietly and reliably.
As someone at higher health risk, I appreciate the accurate data collection to help warn when wildfire smoke rolling in. Itās not great that this is an annual thing now, but I appreciate the use of citizen science to help out! Also outside of wildfire season, it has other data as well and a useful widget!
Thanks to the response from the developer I now understand you can go to settings in the ap and select which conversion you wantā¦choose between US EPA or or live āpurple airā. Thank you! Highly recommend.
looks like some liberals made this app
Iām sensitive to wildfire smoke, and this app actually allows me to monitor air quality on my block in real time. I also use it to get more accurate local temperature measurements. The app also has great design and is well built! Massive kudos and thank you!
I was looking for some thing that would interact with our sensors in and outside the house. A couple of the features of this app stand out: family sharing, widgets, custom alerts, multi-device native viewing. Itās thoughtfully developed.
Very useful and well designed. I look at it frequently, especially when traveling,
I had an issue with the icon not changing after an update but that seems to be resolved now.
We use this app for a mine job site so lots of people have this app. The numbers for every person are different by sometimes hundreds of points. Why? This needs to be addressed. 17 users looking at the same sensor should all see the same number.
1 Negative User Reviews for Paku for PurpleAir
Comparing Paku's AQI numbers to other apps and online monitoring sites, it is frequently radically higher than the numbers any other site is measuring. Just today I saw there was an AQI of 1100 at one location. That's unheard of, and is radically different than any other site was mentoring at the exact same time. And on a regular basis I've often found their numbers to be off by well over 100 points. .
