7 Positive User Reviews for Pathfinder 2E Combat Tracker
Great Addition to our Game
I used this for the first time tonight, and I’m so happy with it already! It was very intuitive and easy to keep up with who’s turn it was, and next session we will be adding the ability for the other players to hook into the fight to see initiative. I wanted to test it tonight with just me keeping up. There are a few things I’d like added, but I know this just released and they’ll be adding more functions. So excited for the development of this app!
Good idea that could use some work
I like the app, and we use it in our group for managing initiative. I just wish it would be more reliable in letting me enter the room and stay there as long as our combat is going on.
Aside from that, I would really like to see a landscape orientation for the iPad.
Has Potential
I like the general idea but I was hoping my players could log in without having to buy the app too. That fact alone makes it only slightly useful for me.
Is exactly what it’s called.
This is an initiative tracker. Does not include stat blocks.
3 Negative User Reviews for Pathfinder 2E Combat Tracker
Good start, needs work
The interface is clean and functional but it desperately needs the ability to save combatants from encounter to encounter and to have combatants pre loaded. There’s no way I’m using this thing at the gaming table as is, it would eat up way too much time manually loading everything.
Also landscape and proper tablet support would be a plus.
Lots of potential, but still lacking
This app could be a lot better, but I haven’t seen any improvements in quite sometime.
Saving combatants is possible, but not at all intuitive. And, you can’t make different encounters and save them all, so I have to build each encounter as I go in a game, which is a waste of time. Much faster to do that with my physical combat pad.
But, it handles the basics just fine.
Conditions not fully functional
The app says it tracks conditions, but the conditions don’t have a value, meaning there is no “Frightened 1” vs “Frightened 2”. I will still have to track all condition duration and values separately anyway, making that part of the app effectively useless.
It does track track initiative as advertised.
The condition list also contains conditions like “Friendly” and “Hostile”, which just take up space since those don’t really need to be tracked in an encounter.
It feels like the developer doesn
