Really nice conversion, missing some features

What I miss... - multi out AU3 or IAA - import/record individual samples to create new kits Otherwise, this is a really nice addition to my iPhone audio kit! Yes, I know that I can create kits in Patterning 2 for iPad... but what if I didn’t have an iPad?

Best dev in iOS music apps

I’ve been using iPad version of patterning for a while now, absolutely the best drum machine for iOS, IMO even better than anything on my pc. iMPC is garbage, along w every other drum app. This is what every drum app wishes it could be. Thanks to dev, you are the boss!

So close, but..

No sample import / custom kits = deal breaker. Otherwise coolest sequencer on iOS.

This is the best

I used it for 5 minutes and can’t believe it’s free. I’ve seen no ads, you can download basically unlimited kits for free and there’s fx sends, all in a unique look and take on a drum machine. The full version is $6, which I already got, so I can save it to my drive or icloud as a .als. If this were a plugin it’d be hundreds of dollars, insane value for the price.

Love this app

Love the sounds! I only use my iphone for making music and feel so sad that i can’t use patterning 2. I would gladly pay for either an update to this patterning for : midi note input Auv3 Multi output Or please of please patterning 2 for iphone.

So much fun

This app helped me get out of a creative slump!!!! I’m a former student of one of the creators of this app and I knew it would be cool, but I didn’t expect it to have so many options for saving and exporting— I can just create and save a sick pattern, export to Ableton, and manipulate clips and record even more with less effort than an entirely new Ableton project. Really awesome for those of us who are rusty with DAWs. Can’t wait to make more music!!!!!

Bit of a learning curve…worth it

This was one of those apps that initially I downloaded on a whim, played with for a bit, scratched my head, and moved on. Seemed like a neat idea, but I had no clue how to use it. After a few months I revisited it, took a little time to learn it, and became quite impressed. The ability to tweak the f out of time signatures per track is amazing on its own. Velocity editing and ratcheting is great. This app is extremely flexible in how beats can be programmed. I do wish there was the ability to b

My favorite drum controller

I love this UI. It’s inspired creativity and promotes velocity variation which adds to a natural vibe. I am using it wirelessly with my macbook for composition. This means I have the wolds best controller sending midi into my daw, driving my favorite drum vsts.

iPhone: love patterning and all the great free kits.

First off- it’s a drum sampler with unique controls, no auv3, and zipped audio exports (lol) but still- it’s free and a blast to play with. patterning 2 on iPad is better, but it’s also not free. Have an iPhone? Download patterning, draw various circles for each drum part, click on pencil, tweak parameters the same way, by filling each drum part- the more color you paint, the more Aggro the sound, less color you paint, the duller it gets. Now hit randomize!!!!!!!!!

So fun

This approach to a drum machine is so natural and fun. Great job developers

So far so good

Are there any acoustic regular sounding drum kits ( not electronic) all the one I have tried are all hip hop digital sounding kits.Just looking for a standard rock drum kit sound

Best iOS drum machine I’ve found so far. Super quick intuitive improvisational flow

Immediately intuitive fun and deep quick performance

REQUEST

32 step support would make this an everyday tool. Please add 32+ step support for those who like going crazy to make it more organization more accessible, I’d separate even fractions of steps by “page” maybe for the iphone version. For ipad, im pretty sure 32 steps can be easily visable

dope app

awesome app wish the probability would expand to other parameters maybe also if the notes could go to 32 otherwise i love this app no complaints
