I am pretty impressed! I appreciate you adding the sorting functions for my pictures. The Latin text is helpful too. The new pronunciation feature is a big wow! Is there a way to slow it down a little?

Very helpful in id’ing wild mushrooms in the wild so I don’t die that way.

As a member of the San Francisco Mycological Society for 30 years, I was surprised at the accuracy usefulness of this app! I’ve been using Picture Mushroom app for two years, and so far it’s been 100% correct! While I always double check the ID with Mushrooms Demystified, by David Aurora (the definitive mushroom identification book), I am happy to have this app in my tool kit and use it often!

Love this app! I run into a lot of mushrooms and while out doing farm and forestry work and it’s really fun to collect all the different types in my gallery

Takes the guessing out of the measure of hunting game. Helps to narrow down the fungi you are gazing upon andAre a little skeptical on what it is. A very helpful tool in educating yourself on mycology. Two thumbs up

This app is great at identifying mushrooms, fungus, and litchens! I love this app and I like when I get a new fungus, I also learn about it. This is the best mushroom app I found.

It requires an internet connection, and an not sure if photos used can be stored until one has a connection. I’m able to view the main “side” photo, but can’t find top and bottom photos. Would be nice if photos could be exported. It gets quite a few completely wrong.

I live in Florida and see a lot of mushrooms. I’m very curious what they are and if they have special properties. Mushroom ID helps to identify them.

Having this app has not only helped increase my knowledge of the forest but as made taking walks in the forest more fun for the children

There really needs to be an option to say the location the mushroom was found ie. country and state the mushroom was located to more accurately identify it.

Do you upload + analyze geo-coordinates of photos? Because many matches of mushrooms I found in Switzerland are showing as found in North America. Also, not clear how to make corrections to IDs — maybe add function to add more photos at a later date? But great app. Very useful. Thank you.

My go-to for mushroom identification!

This is the best thing ever , it really helps me identify the mushrooms I find , I will say I was not sure in the beginning but wow I was so surprised about how good this works !

This app is an amazing first cut. You should still consult a good mycology text for final identification before putting a mushroom in your body.

This app seems to be extremely accurate with many of the mushroom species I have around my city. It’s perfect for quickly analyzing mushroom species and for documentation!

Great app for learning the basics and diving into learning to identify and eat. I’m a newbie but I’ve already got about four or five species down pat after a few trips to the woods. Great for any outdoorsman looming to broaden their knowledge!

I wanted to keep the underside as well as the side view pictures of the mushrooms so I can study them later. Other than that, this app is pretty awesome! I’m just starting out with foraging and I’m using this app along side a guide to test my skills.

I am a pro at mushroom hunting and sometime it is wrong so if your don’t know it don’t just eat it take some time researching and then I think your good but when you use this do r just pick the mushroom👍😔🙁🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄

It’s, at the very least, a helpful tool to tell you a best first guess at identifying what your seeing. This could be confirmation of your own identification or a good direction to begin finding the proper identification.

Anyone who regularly photographs fungi should purchase this app. It has the most accuracy but you do need to use clear photos and submit top and bottom of fungi if it has a bottom side. It’s been well worth it and I like to see My History of what I’ve taken. I’ve also enjoyed learning about ones that I’ve captured.

I do wish there were more widespread photo collection within the app and descriptions, otherwise its cool !

This is a great app for identifying them very well

By no means eat or assume anything this app identifies. But it’s a lot of fun to let the app help with identification. Perhaps in time, you’ll learn to identify various mushrooms without the app.

Has such a large database and each mushroom has information on it, the scientific name, and special facts on it! App was down for a month~ but its back up, time to put in the mushrooms I photographed while the app was on break ☺️

Made the hike a lot of fun , also came home with some oyster mushrooms bonus.

Was curious about some small yellow mushrooms in a flower pot, and now we’re hooked!

This app is amazing! It delivers results super quickly! The only thing it doesn’t advise as to is the edibility of the mushrooms. I just use google once it tells me what kind they are.?
