7 Positive User Reviews for Pill Identifier by Drugs.com

Setting up drugs.com login is slow & painful

To add meds to track you have to create a free account. If password has username characters it will throw random errors like captcha check. After you figure it out the hard way you’ll get a spinning processing wheel. It goes on for minutes until you kill the app and relaunch after which it will work. On the plus side the app has a built in pill identifier so if you are trying to identify meds by their stamped letter codes you don’t need their other app.

Incomplete database.

Unable to identify a pill obtained in US with an identifying number on it.

Incredibly Easy Quick Access To Use !

As an EMT know Pharmacology is important and necessary to know immediately… If not in my memory the app. help me identify medications FAST AND QUICK! The other features like seeing a pic. of the medication(s) helps not only identify the medication(s) but the dosages those medication(s) are. Side Effects, Contraindications, Brand/Generic Names including much more. Job well done developers …

Excellent app

$1 is cheap for what this app does. Don’t useable picture but it does ask you what is written in the pill!

3 Negative User Reviews for Pill Identifier by Drugs.com

Doesn’t Include Thai Meds

Maybe it works for the western world, but I had zero luck identifying common medications in Thailand.

Finding your way

There is little sense in finding your way through this ap. Searching for pills works fine. But….trying to get to the record of your prescription is frustrating. The help section is also of little help.

Website is far superior to the app

Not sure why I thought paying for the app would be more convenient but it definitely isn’t. The filters for shape and color disappear when you type in an imprint, and the search results are just the names, rather than the photos like it displays on the site. Pointless.
