I love this app! It helps keep track of all of my plants and their specific needs. If I’m having visible issues, it helps me identify and take care of the problem. Easy to use and even incorporates local weather to assist with over watering or possible temperature warnings. I definitely recommend using Plant Parent! 🪴💚
Unless I have rot on all my plants in my house in every room, I don’t know if it diagnoses correctly or not. I do like to take pictures of unknown things to identify but other times I have a hard time finding info on my plants that I have. I have already paid the yearly fee but not sure I will keep it after the year expires! I’ve had it long enough that I am not over the moon about it!!
I use this app daily to see what kind of plants I have how to take care of them if they're sick what they need it made things much easier for me to have a large property and helps me keep on top of things
I’m loving this app. The reminders are my new best friend. Plants are flourishing
I love this app! I signed up thinking I’d check it out but probably let it go. I’m keeping it! I have LOTS of succulents. I was getting different friendly advice on how often to water them - 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks. Needless to say I lost some of them. I was so afraid of over watering them that I let some of them die of thirst. Very upsetting! I love that I can identify plants when I am out and about.
I’m really glad that I got this. I’m really glad that it’s the premium because I didn’t know what to do about the flaming sword. I never heard it called the flaming sword. I call it Miss Bromelaid. I named all my plants because I think it’s healthy that group. The last picture I took is all Pothos the one on the top right is the mother of over a hundred plants, I’m sure, over the last 25 years it is still in the same pot. I am very thankful that you guys were really quick because these days I go
I find everything I need on this app, it was so worth the money!! It turned my black thumb into a green thumb ❤️
I love the app however it’s does not give me the best advice in the winter for where I live beyond that I like the app
This app is amazing for scanning and identifying my plants it tells me if there healthy or not and if it needs less or more water this app is amazing get it right now
I cannot rave about this app enough. I'm a plantswoman and am naturally really good with plants. I like to get little cuttings from other plants and often forget the name! This app helps me identify the plant and also has little hints to help the plant thrive. I tell everyone about this app. If you have plants, this app is definitely for you!
Just love it , can’t think of anything better for my garden
There are a lot of great features in this app, and I’ve come to rely on it for the care of my plants. I like the daily reminders, of course, and the diagnosis capabilities, which are all very helpful. One item of significant frustration is the lack of coordination and timing between fertilizing and watering plants. Fertilizing should be done on watering days. This is especially important for plant plants which have long durations between waterings. Please fix this.
Identify plants is always on point but the limitations of diagnosis is problematic
I’d like to keep my hibiscus - it is in a pot, not planted. What is the protocol for this? Thank you. I live in north middle Tennessee.
Plant ID is useful & the reason I got the app. Plant info is basic and that’s ok; I can research for more info if desired. But I HATE that I can’t stop getting notifications on plant care. Maybe I just want to document the weeds around my property - not nurture them!!
I did what the app. said to do and my plant died
Helps me identify problems with my plants before it’s too late!
I like that it lets me know when to water each plant
Plant Parent is useful in helping take care of my plants. I wish when the app tells me to water my plants it would tell me how much water to give them. With the money for a year’s subscription I think I should get a lot more help when I need a specific question asked instead two or three. However, I do like the diagnosis on my plants and how to help them. Janice R
I was hoping to see more on unusual little tricks, like add sugar to water or give a soda.
Excellent Advice on how to maintain healthy plants
This is such a great app. If you have a sick plant, all you have to do is take a picture of it, and it tells you everything that’s wrong and how to remedy it. Also, You don’t have to think about whether you watered the plants two days ago or fed them four days ago, it reminds you of everything you need to do that day. Very user friendly
This app is very helpful in identifying plants and what is wrong with plants, and helping you keep a care schedule for your plants. However, when you diagnose a plant with say, brown spots, it always comes up with a fungal problem when i know for a fact its not a fungal problem. I grow air plants and it only has very limited types of air plants the app knows, so my air plants are under the wrong name. Overall great app for schedules and most diagnosis’s. Would recommend!
I am really enjoying this app and the ability it gives me to diagnose and recommendation it give I am a more confident planter. Thanks
Super easy app to master! Makes plant management fun!!
Analyzes EXACTLY what needs to be done
This is a fantastic program
Great at identifying plants and learning their care and reminding of watering etc.
I just got home from work and
Gives me everything my thing I need, except that when setting up a new plant, you should be able to put in the date that it was last watered.
Helped diagnose my houseplants and following their water/fertilizer schedule has not steered me wrong. Def worth spending $30 for the year subscription.
Yeah, you can Google this info… on every.single.plant you own, or you can just buy the darn app. It’s worth it. I’m a total black thumb but I love plants. With the help of this app I now consider myself to be a chartreuse thumb! I need the fertilizer and water reminders. My only complaint would be that I can’t mark off if I water the plants off schedule. In FL my weather can be unpredictable so sometimes the schedule gets a little off. Just buy it
This app identified and diagnosed my plants. It helped me discover new outdoor plants I'm interested in.
So when I set it up - I set up all my plants the same day. But the app spread out the watering thru out the week. It would have been nice to choose the day I want to do watering versus having to water a plant or two each day of the week.
Leaves falling off. How do I avoid this?
Es maravillosa esta aplicación 👏👏👏👏
This app is amazing. 😍Thank you for saving my plants 🙏🏻.
Good care, nice ux
Excelente aplicación. Una increíble herramienta en la casa y el terreno. Gran contribución al cuidado y mantenimiento de nuestros jardines y de la biodiversidad en general.
a great app for tracking plants. also has informative and helpful info to learn more about the plant you have! Would highly recommend
Really helpful and nice UI
Esperando resolver los problemas de mis plantas.
The most complete source of plant information on the internet.
2 Negative User Reviews for Plant Parent: Plant Care Guide
During the season I enjoy the info from Plant Parent. However, even though the app knows my location (Asheville, NC) it continues to sent notices to water my plants during the winter. They are dead after the first frost and must be replanted in the Spring. Very annoying to keep receiving alerts. Would understand if my location was not part of my profile.
It seems like it could be a good app, but the primary reason I wanted this app was to diagnose problems and offer solutions. unfortunately, the free trial is limited and will not allow you to see the solution to a plant problem without purchasing the subscription. So sad.
