I’m able to check plants in my yard quickly to know whether or not I need to wear gloves I love this app

Hats off to the developers!

It is a little hard to figure out how to share info or photos sometimes, esp from my own photo library, but it’s very good for plant IDs on the spot—using camera rather than photo library. Great to be able to ID plants on the fly!

Plant Net has been my go to source of identification for sometime now. I use it regularly and appreciate the information.

The app performs well in identifying species of plants on a hike. But the controls completely disappear in the process and the user needs to page back to the beginning in order to identify another plant I’ve emailed the app representative who terms me to do this or that with controls that i don’t see my iphone. The representative in an email didn’t seem to think this was a big deal and stated that it was only a few back clicks to get where controls are visible. On a steep slope hanging on to cat

I have gone from very urban life in Manhattan to Newport, RI, which is resplendent with plants. Very helpful.

Can’t afford to pay for one, so I dearly love this app!

I like that this app can to lookup species offline and that it can calculate percent of species in plots. It would be great if it had a larger user base in the United States. It would also be great if there was more incentive for peer verification of species.

In parks i use it frequently to check if a plant is invasive before removing. It’s not perfect yet but very useful. You need to complement it with other sources. Thanks to all who contribute to it.

I find that PlantNet is an excellent and handy app. My only source of confusion is when it asks me to ‘confirm’ an identification. Not being a botanist, I never ‘confirm’ unless I have a credible third party identification, either through an independent key, app or a recognized expert. I am unclear in the rules for confirmation.

In my work I have found PlantNet to be most useful in helping clients learn about their plants. Excellent!

The only reason I selected “4” for the rating is due to the fact that the payable app (not same maker) and app is almost $40 per year! It will tell you what you need to use or do to your plant to revive it! I so wish the free version on this maker would be able to achieve the same thing and still keep it free. That would be majorly awesome! But I do love the app it does identify plants and I’ve been missing with Bondi so it really helps. Thank you so much.

Great, especially for a free app!

This app was unable to correctly identify the first plant I submitted. I got more accurate results using the lens feature on the Google app. Deleted this app.

My go to app when I have idea what plant I am looking at.

I really like this app. I’m a plant lover and am always looking down and trying to identify plants that I see. I often have an idea of what they might be but just can’t put my finger on it. This app guides me to solve the mystery.

This is the perfect tool to have when I visit our local tree and shrub center. After taking the photo of a plant/tree, shrub the result come back quickly with the information you need to see if it's a good fit for your project. I simply love it!

Love this App. It has led me in the right direction virtually 100 percent of the time. I love the way it offers multiple possible identifications with percentage probabilities of them being correct.

Makes itsoeasy to identify a plant!!

It is very convenient. I love to know what I’m looking at when I’m out and about. This app identifies most but not all plants and flowers.

My daughter loves walking around and taking pictures of every plant she sees and finding out what it is and later researching about it. It has really grown her love for nature life!
