PlayerXtreme Video Player App Reviews

I’ve used the PlayerXtreme since it launched. It’s always just worked regardless of devices I’ve use it with (iPhone, iPad mini and currently iPad Pro). And there’s never been an issue with functionality after an iOS update. I can upload and organize my media the way I want to unlike iOS forces you to. I’ve had no problems with various codec formats. I personally like PlayerXtreme’s ability to download subtitles when watching video. That’s fantastic for foreign film watchers like myself

Want to be able to access and obtain DVM mor efficiently? Extreme is the app to download. Period!

I have been using PlayerXtreme Video Player for a long time. I have seen the program change and improve. There is nothing even close to the ease and quality of this app. If you choose not to use it, you are making a huge mistake.

It’s impossible to watch movies online within the app because of all the ads and pop ups

Before when I apply “open with” it asking “save” or “play and save”. But now gone!!! Pls put it back!!!

Tried many players but so far this works best. Just two issues I find annoying. If watching or listening in landscape mode when returning to view the library it reverts to portrait mode forcing me to have to rotate the iPhone manually. Also can’t browse my music library without the music stopping so I can’t choose the next song or build a playlist while music is playing.

The very best player with Passcode and Face ID protection. Another great feature is the option to turn off iCloud backup. I backup my own videos, I don’t need to be paying Apple on a monthly basis to backup the videos I have in PlayerXtreme.

I’ve been using PlayerXreme for years now. Its never failed to play anything I’ve uploaded. This new iteration has even more features (as you’d expect, right?). This application has legs. It’s so worth your time to try it out if you want to use something other than the bog standard Apple player.

Not better, not worse, not fair

I can no longer play my videos after yesterdays update. I’ll change this review once fixed. Thank you.

Previous versions of the app you could zoom in photos. Newer versions you cannot. Other than that it works great for streaming movie, music, etc over home network. I’ve been using it for years, but it’s less useful to me now that functionality is more limited.
