Plex: Watch Live TV and Movies App Reviews

No problem watching the movie or TV show, but the ads cause my iPad to freeze. I'd be willing to pay extra to eliminate ads completely, because this is totally unacceptable.

I use Plex it’s good I don’t really have much to say but I have it on my iPhone and Apple TV and on my Apple TV I can change the app icon and colored themes throughout the interface. I am disappointed the same feature is not on the iPhone version it seems like a simple and desirable change to me and I would definitely change my theme as I don’t think the yellow and black is great. (That’s the only reason I did 3*, fine app I think)

A very good app

Easy access on mobile. Fast, good interface, great metadata support. Overall, very impressed. I wish it had better support for downloading to take files off my NAS and onto my phone, but otherwise great!

I recently got Plex just because they were getting Knots Landing which is my all time favorite tv show. Suddenly today instead of finishing season 3 they jumped to season 8! Myself and my entire fan group are so disappointed because we’ve all been waiting for our favorite show! Please fix this issue Plex and I’ll increase my stars!

The downloading feature barely works and is very finicky when it does work. This has been the case for years now. When can we get that fixed?

I like the app on iPhone. However, on appleTV it crashes for any content except live streams.

The app works really well. The main issue is that if you’re watching a movie or show and you switch apps, when you go back to the Plex app, it always hangs/crashes forcing you to close it out and re-opening the app just so you can go back to what you were watching. I don’t have this issue with any other app on the iPhone or iPad.

Just downloaded the app yesterday. Was able to watch tv yesterday. Today on the other hand it’s been constantly crashing. I’ll open the app and then it’ll close. Open app, select show and crash. Crash crash crash. Earlier I was able to select the show and it started quickly flashing through all the episodes and then the app would close. No idea. I’d use a browser if you could.
