All the new technologies are slightly overwhelming to this “vintage adult”! I said I would never use a cellphone but now I have one with me at all times. I said I would never order or do my banking online but now I am doing both with ease. Podcasts are my latest technology acquisition. Love them! Difficult to navigate because of the non-stop pop-up ads. Frequently the ads are not in English and you have to guess which button to click just to get the ad to go away. The close button also moves around trying to trick you into opening a new ad. I’d be happy to pay for an app that doesn’t assault me with non-stop ads.

The Podcast app is a real benifit to use. My only complaint is that the window of opportunity to delete old programs are very small or short. Also old undeleted programs always play first after a current program ends, which is a pain if you have already heard them.

It’s too expensive but other than that I like it I don’t know why they have to charge 34 bucks a year seems really outrageous. If it was like 1499 or something a year I do it but the free version works just fine.

I like knowing about people in general

Interesting subject matter. I could easily put up with their laughing at their own jokes if the profanity weren't so pervasive. I'm not a prude--I spent 35 years working in corrections. The persistent cussing caused me to leave the podcast after about 15 minutes.

The only functionality that this app has that the Apple Podcast app doesn’t have is the ability to create playlists, but otherwise this app is overall less functional. $36 per year is way too much when the free app that comes with every iPhone works better. I would pay $1 - $2 per month for the playlist feature on this app, but definitely not $36 per year.

The amount of 5 star reviews are truly baffling. The monetization of the app is clunky and intrusive. When you try to play a podcast you have to wait for the app to retrieve a full screen ad during which the app appears unresponsive. I also frequently had problems starting playback but found the entire thing so miserable to use I didn’t try to figure out what the culprit might be. Stay away.

Sometimes can’t shut off ads
