Pokémon TCG Card Dex App Reviews

So this app is a really good place to go to look for a specific card, but it’s not very good for scanning cards, however. Sometimes it will scan the right card, but most of the time it just thinks that I scanned the darker cards, like shadow circle, or sea of nothingness. I don’t know why it does this! This would be so great if when my son clicked on a Pokémon card, the app would audibly say it’s name. He doesn’t yet know how to read, but loves memorizing the names/cards and constantly asks me to read them.

IF the old generation cards get added then it would be a 5-star app.

This was really good but the scanning was not working well

I have a mew vmax but scanning doesn’t work so I tried searching and that didn’t work please help me find this card

This app is generally amazing and I love that it helps me organize my cards but just my problem is that I have a pignite card that’s not on there if it helps it has the move flame charge and heat crash

This app is great! It works just fine but I have some requests: 1: Add a “show evolutionary line” option. 2: Add a “my cards” tab. This would be very helpful instead of having to go into the search bar and selecting the “owned” option and hitting search. It would be way less complicated. I have one complaint about the app. I tried to scan my mewtwo v that I got in the mewtwo v pack and was greeted with a “cannot download images” pop-up. The app is good. But anytime I try to scan something. It kicks me it for no reason. Please fix

The scan function doesn’t work no matter what card I scan it always shows the shadow circle stadium card but other than that this is cool!!!

I find the app to be extremely good for sorting through sets. The search and filter features are excellent, no doubt. Logging collection progress is very useful, no more struggling to remember what I have. The big issue for me is that it doesn’t turn into landscape mode for iPad, big thumbs down for that. Couldn’t use it on my ipad since it’s stationary on my desk. Too bad. Great on phone tho!

When I saw this app I had to download it. It has every thing I need to know about every Pokemon card. Thank you for ready the review the is one of a kind and PS download it.

Mine is not scanning correctly it keeps scanning the same card I tried it many times but still shows the same card

Is a very good app but happens if my phone dies? Why is there not an account where my progress will be stored no matter what happens?

Ok so when I first got this app I thought it would be great so I can see all the cards I have on my phone but even if you do everything perfectly to scan the card it will still and constantly get it wrong or it won’t scan so I really hope they fix it then it would be 5 stars

Overall a good app. Think there are some quality of life aspects they could add like number of duplicates of a card and types of the card owned.

I like the game but I wish they could add trading in. It gets really boring not being able to trade cards. That’s all I have to say.

Some cards don’t scan, I tried scanning a lyconroc but it didn’t scan, and it did not have a shine ✨ to it. I even tried to scan a Riachu but it did not scan either.

I had a rating before saying the scanner was bad and I don’t think you can edit reviews so I’m writing a new one to say the scanner works perfectly fine when the card is not in the binder

I have tried to get it to scan my tape koko VMAX card but its keeps scanning in as a stupid shadow circle card that I don’t even have I have tried all the troubleshooting stuff that they had and it still did not scan correctly

I have been collecting Pokémon for 5 years and I’m 11 and I never exactly new which Pokémon I had until I looked up Pokémon apps on my phone found this now I can keep track of my cards so easy

I tried to use the scanner on my 1995 Charmander and some other cards. and it kept saying is this the card you scanned and the card that showed up was a Shadow Circle. so I tried another card and did the same thing.

I love the app and love to scan my cards but the scanner mostly says the black circle stadium and won’t scan the correct card

It’s pretty good. But every time I press the scan button in the bottom right corner it kicks me out! I don’t like that, soooooooo, please fix it. But other then that I like the app.

Great game but i wish it didn’t just have down to x and y

It’s okay but a lot of my cards that I’ve collected over the years simply don’t exist on the card dex. So I can’t count for most of my card collection ;(

There are 2 things that kill the game for me.1 is it doesn’t support McDonalds or cereal cards. 2 is that it is missing so many promo cards for sword and shield.Besides from those two flaws it woks great.Fix those and I will change rating

With the celebrations release it’s marking cards I don’t have as owned and unchecking cards I mark as owned. Please fix

Ok do every time I scan a card it keeps saying it’s shadow circle even tho it’s a pikachu or Lugia it keeps happening and I’m sick of it LIKE FIX IT IT’S ANNOYING LIKE GOD.

Good app, but some of the cards will not show up

I downloaded the app and didn’t realize they weren’t including anything before XY. My other app is currently better. I hope that changes soon and they add older sets

I can’t scan my venusaur v card because when I do it says failed to download images. Please fix this glitch

When the scan works its great. No ads, no interruptions. But when i try to scan my ex/gx/breaks it either registers them or comes up with a normal dark stadium card.
