Politonus II (Ear Training) App Reviews

I have tried many ear training apps and I can say this app is now one of my favorites. The app learns really fast where my weaknesses are and I have improved tons in just a few minutes of using it. The progress view not only shows you how well you are doing but you can also tap on each ball to hear the sound, really cool. It’s also nice to have an entire picture of all the possible intervals, triads and seventh chords.

A different approach to ear training. I found it helpful to compare the chord qualities of the 3 spheres especially in the dim and aug chord structures. Disappointed that the app doesn’t recall my previous level once I close and reopen the app.

I enjoy playing the game and believe it will help me develop my ear. My problem is that my progress is not saved; every time I open the app it starts over from the beginning. How will I ever see the higher level challenges? I purchased this app because of the promised feature that it will keep track of how I am doing and offer new challenges appropriate to my level, adapting as my skills improve. That isn’t happening.
