Love this metronome. It can be overwhelming. But, if you spend time with it, it really is amazing. If you’re looking for a metronome that can do everthing; this is it.

PolyNome is an incredibly useful app for both practice and gigging. However, perhaps the best part is the amazing customer service. Every question I have ever had has been answered within hours, not days or weeks.

It took me a bit to get used to the workflow but it was well worth it. I can tell PolyNome was made with a lot of love.

Good, but we should be able to change rhythm or speed during the playing

I just bought this so I can’t really say much other than it working great as I learn it. It seems to do everything to set up groves tp practice. But, since it does a lot there is a lot to learn. The reason I would give it a 10 if I could is that I emailed a question and received a long personal email back within minutes with a perfect answer. I have never received such great customer service.

This is a very heavy duty metronome that's challenging in many ways, including using actual notation to program drums. Highly recommended!

This is probably one of the best apps I have ever used. The metronome part is just the surface! Online libraries for exercises, notation, set lists, sounds, you name it! A great Swiss Army knife for any percussionist. You can keep it simple or deep dive into all the features. Great work. Love using it live as well as practice.

One of the things that met Apple successful as a company was that they figured out what the public wanted before the public even knew. PolyNome is an app that does just that. It does everything you could ever hope for and then six months or a year later as you have improved you’ll think of a feature that you need and you’ll discover that it’s already there. And that happens again and again and again and again and again. Brilliant work by an exceptional coder and exceptional professional drummer.

I can appreciate the advanced controls but the UI feels a bit convoluted in my opinion. Additionally wasn’t a fan of the fact that the playlist and tempo changing feature was only accessible in the $32 premium package, *after* i already paid $10 for the basic app. That’s what I thought made this app special but constantly being asked to get premium doesn’t feel worth it I’m going to stick with ProMetronome and program my own tempo changing exercises in Ableton.

I’m a music teacher and performer. I’ve downloaded most of the iOS metronomes to review for my students. This is the one that I use. It has everything I’ve ever wanted in a metronome. It’s so good that I paid for the premium service. Joe is an awesome developer and always replies with answers to any questions. I love it. My Dr. Beat doesn’t.

For 9.99 this metronome can’t even increase the tempo. Guess how much you need to pay for that? 99.99! Infinitely regret the purchase. Also, if the dev is going to respond with their usual boilerplate: the description doesn’t mention that tempo automation is a paid feature.
