ProShot

One of the best cameras out there

Continues to be the absolute best of the best of the best

I got this app a long time ago and have been using it for everything other than the quick snapshot. The software is one of a kind for the iPhone. There are quite a few somewhat impressive apps on Android that offer similar functionality, but in the iOS world, you will not find anything that even comes close to the quality of performance, feature set, or reliability as this. The developer is very evidently a dedicated, skilled programmer who accepts nothing but the very best from his work, as it

The best camera app I’ve ever found

The developer has clearly put a lot of thought into this app. I love how much it feels like my DSLR, everything is so easy to access, it all just makes sense. So happy I found this and can’t wait to use it more!

App crash

Not working on iPhone 14PM running iOS18.5 Appreciate if the app developer can look into resolving this. Thank you.

Would give it a 5

So this app is pretty sick. I really do enjoy it. But unfortunately, I have an issue. I am using an iPhone 16 pro max. I have an external ssd attached to my iPhone. The app will not recognize the ssd there for I cannot shoot in log. So that is a dealbreaker for me. If I didn’t need that feature, it would have a 5.

Great app

So far great app but I’m struggling figuring it out.

One of the ORIGINAL downloaders here.

Had this app since almost day one. It was not as robust or configurable back then, but at that point in time, nothing was, and it was STILL light years beyond all THE other photographic apps, and has kept up and is now. That is my main point. They are constantly upgrading and updating this app, and not milking its customers every one or two years with a new app whilst discontinuing the current version. They have stayed with this app contributing to its fantastic ability to be configured. Of

My favorite of the pro style camera apps

ProShot gives access to all the controls you’d want that the stock camera app doesn’t allow. I really love the UX and design. Everything is easily accessible, but still looks stylish. The only request I’d like to see is a tint control option. I notice a green tint depending on the color balance. This can fixed in post, but it would be nice to have the option in app.

this is my favorite camera app

this is my favorite camera app. i like the interface the most out of all the ones i downloaded. it makes sense in my brain more than many other camera app interfaces. i wish it had zebra stripes for exposure like how it has the visual focus peaking in manual mode, maybe the dev will see this review and add it, either way it is my favorite app to shoot in raw on my phone.

Film recipes please!

Still needs film recipes, otherwise amazing alternative when without a typical point and shoot camera

No app/remote for Apple Watch

Camera+ 2 can, but ProShot doesn’t??? 🤔🤨

Just what I wanted

I have 3 DSLRs so for the times I don’t have them md need a little manual control once in a while this app is perfect. Has everything. Happy to donate as soon as I’m done writing this review. Don’t hesitate to download comes with so many controls and options

Great app

It’s both simple and powerful without being overrun with useless features. Really liking this so far and I think it will be my go-to camera app soon.

Excellent photography app, just one issue

Ditched my DSLR. iPhone 14 Pro + ProShot is bliss. Love the many options for manual configuration of my shot. Hope to see some editing/filter options and even further improvements to app launch time in the future. Only thing I dislike is that the app adjusts my volume every time I open it. I keep my volume at 0%, but opening the app bumps it to ~25%. I’d rather the app not inexplicably mess with my volume.

Rewiew.

It’s a cool DSLR app among cam apps in the world.

This app is so good, but a few bugs need ironing out

This is such a great app for iPhone photography! But sometimes the viewfinder screen freezes randomly. If this error is fixed, this app would be so much more reliable!

Sophisticated and simple

I really like this app because it give you flexibility but it’s also not overly complicated and is still simple enough so manually control what you need.

Love this app

I can create great videos with proshot i like to use it all the time

GO-TO APP!

This is my main app for photography unless I need a really weird filter. This app does MORE than several apps PUT TOGETHER! Had this for a long time.

Love it

But have a lot of bugs when doing Bulb Shots Timelapse Iphone 12 mini

Doesn’t do what I need it to…

I bought this because I needed an App that can do long exposure for time lapse but just like the other app which was free by the way… this one only does 1/3 of a second when set the time lapse and I need closer to 1 to 6 seconds exposures 😒

Great camera app!

Really enjoy playing with the app

Perhaps the best specialty photo app out there!

App developer is super responsive and actually fixes bugs and feature issues quickly. In a previous review, I’d noted a weird quirk in time lapse mode. Developer responded to the issue and it was completely fixed in the very next update. Amazing! Highly recommend the app based on both its actual functionality AND the impressive responsiveness of the developer.

Promptly fixed and regularly updating app!

I’d like to know/request about a microphone selection, is it possible to add a feature to choose any of those 3 mics? Taking videos in windy places is the weakest point of iPhone vs other phones (sounds of winds toward mic at back-cams is the same as tapping mic!)

Works great, just one request

It works great on iPhone, just wondering if you could add support for Mac? Obviously not urgent and just for fun. It works ish but kinda crashes. Again not important but it'd be fun to have it fully functional on Mac. Thanks~

quickly bugs resolving

nice developer, updating very quickly

UI doesn't totally adjust for landscape

app interface used to be better, back when I used it on Lumia 950 all the UI elements would adjust for landscape now I have to tilt my head to see some of them

Still good on iPhone 6

Still works on my iPhone 6 and gives me manual control of focus and aperature, plus more info than Apple’s camera app (e. g., light meter).

Blank screen

Most recent update results in blank black screen when opening app. Update: 8.0.1 fixed the problem. Access restored and the app is great.
