Usually when I use the vpn, everything goes as normal. But on VERY infrequent occasions the vpn goes rouge and constantly flips itself on and off again messing up your Wi-Fi connection and phone processes like downloading and updates. It’s not too hard to fix, but it just takes a little time to do, usually about 2-3 minutes tops. It’s only happened to me three times but if that were fixed it’d be a great 5/5.

Not the best VPN in the world. I got the unlimited license which includes email and vpn. I was excited about having everything in the same account but more often than not I have to go back to my old VPN provider because Proton is way slower. Now I have to decide if I renew my plan or I go back to my old providers even if I have to have mail and VPN with different companies and subscriptions.

The VPN and email service and client are without peer! Safe, fast, intelligent, they’re simply amazing. I have been using Protonmail for two years on my PC and iPad and they have never failed me! This can’t be said for most email services/clients on the App Store or anywhere else. Finally, the Support Team is responsible and remarkable!

Love proton but app needs a real home screen widget and ability to pin countries in the list to the top so we can access the countries we use daily easily.

Don’t blame this app on geopolitical issues in your country. Works very well.

Good, but needs a widget to easily control connections and view status. PIA has this feature and no reason Proton cannot do it; otherwise effective and fast.

Easy to turn on, can go to settings and make it automatically connect once you’re at risk of being exposed. There are a few payment plans that you can do a lot with, but the FREE version has enough protection and options that I desire. **VERY FAST TOO**

Most everyone with negative reviews are relying on the free VPN service that’s provided. They should just be happy better free service even exist. Otherwise they should find a way to earn $5 more dollars a month to afford the paid plan which is 10 times better. I’ve been happy for two years with Proton VPN and have never had issues. But I pay for products.

We are good hands with proton vpn which is used by hydro collider for finding particles of God. We need updates more often and why your vpn is not connected to proton all time? We Linux users approve Proton VPN only.

Great app, but update widget to use latest iOS style of widgets. The widget is still stuck using the old form rather than the new kind.

Before the big revamp of the app I use to be able to watch videos on YouTube without seeing any ads, but after the update it seems that this feature doesn’t work anymore and is locked behind a pay wall. One minute it was fine then the next I completely loose a feature.

Why are they taking my contact information. Super scary and unnecessary.

Switched over to Proton email awhile back and was so satisfied with that I hopped onto the VPN service. A true privacy company that’s transparent and well put together.

I’ve been a proton subscriber for a year and have never had any outages or frankly any problem with their services. Thanks proton team!

When it comes to getting a VPN service, I need it to be cross-platform (iOS, Mac, Windows, Android), secure with minimal speed hit, and have multiple country options. So all the boxes are checked here; the only detraction being the absence of any IPV6 support.

Thanks proton team for making available more places in the other two countries. I upped the stars to reflect that. Had only one yesterday. I’ll wait in see if this trend continues, to up more stars.

There was almost 50 servers in the US alone. Since the update, over half are gone with several being serviced. Also no issue connecting to any of then until the update.

the new logo isn’t showing up on IOS for some reason. It’s still showing the old logo

I don’t know if there is a fix to this but if there is not I do not recommend this **NEVERMIND I FIXED IT** Just had to switch to IKEv2

WireGuard protocol isn't working yet I now to connect to wireguard protocol must first connect to openvpn protocol then disconnect and connect to wireguard protocol Provide the ability to report an issue with photo & video

In my country,iran,net is blocked for almost all websites,this vpn makes my feel free.i mean it workes with all servers and has no disconnecting.as i said,it’s absolutely best ever.THANKS to creators🙏👏🙏

Previously I gave this only 3 stars but that was user error on my part. It's great and very fast on the paid version.

I wish I could give the full 5 stars but alas the issues with disconnection on iOS continue to persist and I hope our support can help get that ironed out 😔 love your mission and can’t wait to see what other great things you guys come out with!

I read that it was all things taskmaster when I subscribed so I thought these were already included, user error on my part but still a little frustrating as I've already watched all of the UK ones since they’re the only uncensored ones on youtube

Still “hangs” when updating. I’ve been using Proton VPN for years (along with Mullvad) and I almost always have to delete and reinstall this app whenever there’s an update. This was supposed to be fixed four updates ago. Proton NEEDS TO FOCUS on their current products instead of rushing to release new apps!

This VPN was awesome until the last couple of months when it really slowed down my internet and I was not able to stream nor surf the web. It forced me to switch to another VPN provider.
