I like this app sometimes but if I’m going somewhere and there’s a major accident on my route 97.5% of the time it doesn’t show up.
I am a retired firefighter. I enjoy just knowing what’s going on around my surroundings and where the sirens are going. What’s the fire fighter always a fire fighter. Thank you pulse point.
I’m not sure how alarms are reported to the app, but I noticed our local alarms stopped show up for a couple of months. When the alarms DO show, the app is great!
Being able to access the location of an emergency, can help us to avoid travel on roads that may be impassable, to possibly aid those who could be in harms way prior to arrival of emergency services. This and more in tandem with the fire department when the siren sounds we are quite well informed as to what is or what may be occurring and most of all - where to focus our prayers for those involved.
As a veteran of the Thomas Fire, I find your notification/information system reassuring as we go foreword. Thanks to the developers, operators, and all other first responders. Thomas Fire vet worried about ingress and egress to the Ojai valley with all the road changes: some by nature and some by policy. Pulse Point helps us know what’s happening. Thank you.
The info received is very informative. You know where to drive and roads to avoid.
You do a great job. Thanks
This app helps me see what’s going on in my neighborhood and lets me know where my dad is and where I will need to go for when I become a firefighter and emt
Nice to be able to know why I’m stuck in traffic, or what is happening in my neighborhood. Wish there was a way to get a little more information on incidents.
What’s with not having any sounds of dispatch???
I use this tool frequently to stay on top of incidents
What is C#, or E#, or B#. Put a legend on the app!
I Ike PulsePoint but I would like it even more if it included law enforcement.
When i first downloaded it they use to dispatch before the radio broadcast. Now its either a tie or radio broadcast comes first then it comes out on pulsepoint. Still great but could use some bug fixes
I love this app. I like knowing what’s going on where I live. I’ve used it to monitor the status when I’ve had to call 911, but the status is not as accurate as it used to be. It showed “dispatched” when the paramedics were at my door, totally skipping “in route”, but it’s great for knowing what’s going on. My nephew is a firefighter in another state so I can even see how his day is going! I should have been a dispatcher because I’m fascinated with how it all works.
So easy to use and makes me aware of what and where these emergency vehicles are going and responding to!
I feel this is a very helpful app a lot of times this comes out before my pages. It’s very useful only thing I don’t like is the public access because you have nothing but gawkers coming to your accident fire or any emergency scene but I understand the reasoning for this app.
This is very much helpful
Just like to see where the sirens are going.
I like to be in the know about what is going on where I live I
It ok to laugh at ru itotp or
Ever since the maintenance window last week, this app has no longer worked for the Colorado territories.
Need to add York county pa Although it is very good and would recommend it
This app really works! Information is real time, and will alert when CPR is needed near your location. (I’ve seen that function work personally). It would be cool if more agencies nearby used it. Only improvement I would suggest is to be able at adjust the radius of the CPR notification.
Use it all the time when I here sirens near me
Wanna know what's up?
I like the app because it tells me what stuff happens today
Great app I use it almost everyday
Would like more details
Very informative
I really enjoy being notified by this method, concerning traffic accidents in the Chatsworth area. Thank you very much. Paul J Hannig, PhD.
Thank you. I appreciate this app. For some reason Watch Duty app and this one do not pick up same fires frequently. Hope all apps will be in sync soon. Certainly help to feel safer knowing where the fires are.
Great app when it works
Great app for following accidents. I enjoy it!
I’ve worked for SCzFD for over 5 years, SJFD for over 24 years before retiring out 13 years ago. I just turned 71, yesterday. It was a career that I still love, so I presently like to follow the crews on their calls. I still like the mental exercise of thinking thru situations in order to keep my mind active, especially since I’m still living an active and demanding outdoor lifestyle . Pulse Point gives me a connection to things I’m familiar with to engage my mind and body to fit in with t
Great app for know what’s happening in your area.
