I’ve never owned a real TB 303, but I did have a Behringer TD-3 which I did side by side comparisons with, and when I was done I sold the TD-3. In my opinion the oscillator sounds, the filter response, the envelope and the accent are all spot-on. The LFO and distortion are nice bonuses. The sequencer is great. The drum machine sounds terrific and the step sequencer is easy enough to program. It all works great as an AUv3 plugin, including multi-output for more complex setups. A first-rate 303 s

It’s great on its own but I like to use the sequencer in AUM to program other synths.

Where can a guy get instructions as to how to use it? Sure you can make sounds but I don’t know how to lay out complex beats to where they all play or how to sample before adding while they are going yadda yadda

Honestly one of the best sounding soft synths on iOS alongside Poison. The effects are top notch and really allow you to tame and expand the sound, and most of the muddy low end that you would get on the real deal can more easily be scooped out with tuning up without affecting clarity. One spot for improvement - having a standalone bassline and mixer in the auv3 would be very handy given I sequence and program drums externally. As with the other Jim audio apps, this is incredible. Wonderful sounds, 303,707,808, and all that jazz! I absolutely find it indispensable with its integration with GR II. Thank you Jim.

This app is incredible. Very intuitive and fun. Excellent recreation of classic ReBirth set up but brilliantly reimagined for iPad! I can't believe how great this thing is. Gorgeous and clean aesthetic. Great sound. Excellent user interface. It's very easy to lose hours going down the acid wormhole with this baby. I've only had it a couple of hours and I've made like 10 jams so far. Looking forward to trying out the export feature to see if I can render some cool acid loops to use in Octatrack!

This app sounds and works great. It’s a full standalone acid creation suite, you don’t really need anything more than this. But you’ll want to get a midi controller with a bunch of knobs on it so you can do the proper twiddling during performances. I wish it had midi thru, or it’s my failure that received midi clock isn’t sent back out the other end.

I was too late to get the Rebirth app before it was pulled, so I’ve been looking for something similar. This app is an improvement over Rebirth in many ways, especially in how it modernizes the programming process. I was wondering how the included examples got the sweeping effect, as you cannot record knob movements. The method here is to use the LFO. This is so cool! So easy to use! Sounds phenomenal! For the bass alone it is definitely worth it! I had so many apps I was reluctant to get another. This is a must have for the synth alone, so good! And you get drums and a sequencer

Was hoping Pure Acid was going to be just the first of more to come. Always plays well with others. Connect Pure Acid with Riffler, seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.

Very VERY fun! At first glance it seems like it’s gonna take and hour long video or a lengthy sit down with the manual. But I learned enough to have a blast just by poking around. I wish it had multi midi input like Animoog Z so I could have both my Midi Keyboard and Midi Mixer plugged in to speed up the workflow.

I bought pure acid yesterday for 14.99 and I was charged 30 dollars for it it was supposed to be on sale. Great app tho but I need my 15 dollars back

I can’t tell you the last time I had this much fun using an IOS app. I no longer use IOS music making apps in my set up but this is tactile enough to work its way into my live set up. Well done.

Well done Dmitrij! For a v1 this is fantastic. My only minor requests would be to allow all the FX on both FX A and B. Maybe a few more drum kits? As a fan of Groove Rider this was an instabuy.

I love acid music and this is the new gold standard for iOS. So much fun, amazing app!!

Maybe add the ability to go up to 400 bpm. That way i can make it goto 800 bpm by doubling it.

Pure Acid is well worth the money.I promise you won’t be disappointed.I hope sampling will be added eventually.

Great stuff. Super fun to play with and great features. Easy to bang out a quick drum sesh and definitely easy to work into a solid track.

Great fun and focused groovebox. Really fantastic build and implementation, great for real-time jamming or live tweaking. Worth the money!

This is one of those indispensable apps that I use regularly in many different ways. Cannot recommend enough!
