10 Positive User Reviews for Pure Piano

Sounds great but…

I really like the realistic sound. I like being able to hear mechanical movement emulation. This makes it slightly better than Ravenc in my opinion. Unfortunately I don’t see a choice to enable it to continue in the background. This is a pain because I can’t just open another program that displays my music or lessons. I have to open a third party app such as a daw to keep the keyboard and sound going.

One of the best sounding pianos for iOS

Pretty decent piano for a MIDI keyboard. Morph pad is cool and great for tonal shaping for beginners. I wish there were different reverb engines. The plate like reverb is pretty good, but I would love to have a high cut control and a modulated reverb option. The reviews say the devs listen to their customers (thank you!) so I’ll keep my fingers crossed! There’s also an issue where it sounds like occasionally an octave is triggered by one note? It’s pretty rare and hard to recreate

Has Issues With Audio Tails Cutting Out

And this is why you don’t buy plugins. Everything has issues even the expensive ones. This particular engine has issues with audio tails cutting out seemingly at random times while playing. Not the same as letting off the sustain. Other than that the sound and behavior of the keys is fairly decent and better than garage band no doubt. But for the money, it should not have these problems. Running iphone13pro max.

Great,

Really great sounding piano. I’ve tried several and this is the one for me. I’ve tried Ravenscroft, pianoteq, and Korg pro module. This one sounds the most natural to me.

Really close

String harmonics, are a nice upgrade, but I’d very much like to see chord readouts, and a much simpler and quicker way to transpose

Doesn’t crash now… but still not for me.

This app crashes every time I touch any area except the main window where the piano is, which basically makes it unusable. Honestly, it doesn’t sound all that good either. I’ve read tons of reviews and articles that portray this as one of the best sounding piano apps on iOS. I don’t see it. I don’t have a problem paying for quality software, but this is worthless for me. ***Update So the latest update fixes the crashing issue that I had. Unfortunately, I still don’t think it sounds good. Maybe

Love it ❤️🎹

Rock solid. Never glitches. I had to turn something off (can’t remember what) but when I did, OMG does it sound and respond nicely to my Roland RS-9 synth action 88 that I use because of arthritis. ❤️🎹

My to go Piano App for playing live

I have KORG MODULE PRO and Ravenscroft apps. I have also tried Pianoteq. This is by far my preferred app. The ability to modified the sound seamless it just priceless. YOU ALL PIANO PLAYERS OUT THERE, JUST GET IT. TRUST ME.

Not working as auv3 plugin

Good sounds but it crashes as Auv3 plugin. If i use more than 2 instances, the app crashes, so sadly a lost my money. For solo playing it works, nothing more.

Can't quit

New user: once in app I can not find how to quit
