Pure Strings Instrument & AUv3 App Reviews

Still giving this gem 5 stars cause of sound quality.. but gang… it keeps crashing when I play too many notes at once. Please fix.. I want this to work so bad. It even does this crash in AUM.. and AUM is super stable w/ most other apps. I’m on iPad Pro 12.9 2017

Could you add the ability to record mp3 audio on your apps? I create music personally and having access to to my iPad would make it very convenient. I hope to see an app with a bundled orchestra on. Thank you developer. I understand if you would charge more for those additions but totally worth it. Just please don’t make it a monthly thing.

It's magic, or genius level intelligence to make a rompler sounds so vast and expressive. I finally understand why people were dumbfounded with Pure Piano despite a universe full of piano options. Whatever annunaki / zeta reticule sampling technique they use, they have mastered it entirely. Literally Hans Zimmeresque sounds with so much movement, texture, spirit, breathe- it's soulful- but it's still just samples!!! This tech is unmatched, imho

The sound is full, rich, and incredible. Easy to tweak. Update: crashes very frequently as an AUV3

I’m also a Pure Piano user. Both are fantastic except at times they crash or fail to load in Logic Pro. Recently not only has the app been crashing, it’s crashing Logic Pro with it. Also notes A4, A#4, B4, and C4 are unstable, as if gated. Sometimes reloading helps, but the problem is persistent. Please fix ASAP. TIA

This app sounds fantastic. However, as a live musician, I wish it had midi learn. I should be able to map the Expression to CC11 instead of the modulation wheel. Or map the different articulations to the mod wheel or any other CC message. It’s a little to locked into be practical to use in a live setting.

I am so pleased with what this brilliant app can do thank you. Big dreams start small and I must say this is so iconic in ways words can’t describe or explain.

I have never heard strings sound this great. Not only do they sound way over the top of the strings available in most plugins/DAWs, they are one of the best sources of inspiration I ever used. The connectivity is way too good not to use all of this apps incredible suite of features. Definitely worth it!
