Love this app!
I am so happy my family switched to Qobuz. I was looking for a music streaming app that felt more human-driven, artist-focused, and values-aligned. Love the magazine articles, and while I don’t love all the staff picks, that’s ok! Music is art and art is subjective. I just hope more indie artists climb on board, as some of the discographies are gappy or missing entirely.

third review
recently there’s been a bug where when shuffled, songs will begin playing but without sound. also the skip button is a few seconds delayed-which is a minor inconvenience. overall i think qobuz is an ever improving batter alternative to other streaming services. i my discover music has improved in the few months ive been on qobuz so im glad to see that.
Search function
Search function is terrible. Songs that come up first often don’t even have the same words searched.
Such good quality
I switched because I am done with Spotify’s nonsense and Apple Music is worse. I really love the UI with Qobuz and was delighted in the higher quality of music available. The only thingI would ask for as a feature in future updates is a lyric function so I can see the words while listening! Thank y’all so much for this great platform.
Editing to add another feature request: please add a “hide this artist” “hide this song” button. Please. There are certain artists I never ever want to hear. This
just feels amazing to use
it’s so well designed. things are smooth, pretty, readable, and just so good. i’ve used apple music, spotify, youtube music, and tidal, and qobuz is my favorite (by a lot)! and they pay artists more than any of those others, which is really great!
Boo to Spotify
I love the app. It is a great alternative to Spotify if you want to divest from. That predatory app this is a wonderful option. It still has some kinks to work out and I do wish that more music was available. There are a few artists that I would like to see that aren’t on the website yet, but I’m sure as more and more people join that they work out The kinks
Overall, great app though
great audio quality but user experience could be improved
i think that the audio is great and the catalogue is pretty good. there are some exceptions for more obscure things like soundtracks and i wish the algorithm was a bit better. i’m switching from Spotify premium so it took some time to get used to less suggested, personalized music. i think once more users discover the app, the catalogue will expand and there may be more features but i do think it’s worth the $5/month for all that it gives. only thing i use spotify (free) for at this point are po

Amazing
I have been comparing Qobuz, Tidal and Apple Music. With Apple Music Dolby Atmos definitely needs to be turned off. I hear audio compression with it on. Apples lossless tracks sounds good, but Qobuz has more fidelity. Listen to Pete Townshend – Let my love open the door on both services on CD quality…. Tidal sounds good but…. a lot of tracks are in Dolby Atmos. Tidal does not let me shut that off. Tidal Dolby tracks also sound compressed. To the point where I almost can’t here a violin or the vo
Bad update
I love Quobuz but… Merging the downloads and my library has resulted in an unnecessary complicated interface; and worse, half of my downloads are nowhere to be found unless I search for them. Please fix this or go back to the previous format which worked fine. 5 stars for the old, 3 for the current version.
The best sound and great compensation for artists
Excellent! Highly recommend. All about the music. Huge catalog. Great articles about the artists as well. Classical superb. You don’t need a DAC, but if you have one, sound is even better, including via iPhone. Also includes people like Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, who have pulled out of Spotify for its disturbing politics.
Bring back MyQobuz please?
I just find the new interface less functional than previous. Maybe it’s just me.Apart from that the app is great!

Meh
Trying to stay away from Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal for ethical reasons. Someone suggested this app and it’s fine. I’m only giving two stars because there’s no lyrics. And I can’t find any Disney or Broadway music. But they’re still charging the same as Spotify, Apple and TIDAL. So it’s not really worth it to me.
What I hate about this update
Either I don’t know how to organize my music but the update ruined my library. It used to be organized by artists but now it is organized by the title of n alphabetical order but it also includes the unsocial songs I have in the loved option? So now I can’t view the albums I have added in order from artists name, instead an album from bill withers is going to be at the top along with two in the middle and one at the end, this doesn’t make sense.
Bad update
Lost pretty much all my downloaded music…
