Our family did this in Reno yesterday, complete with costumes! We had fun (would have been better in cooler weather!!). Not only did we do the whole game, but we had many “honking & waving” admirers and well wishers driving past during the game. The app was a bit difficult to figure out in the beginning - our screens were all a bit different, but we figured it out and the entire game was truly a team effort! Great Fun!
App works well, just was thinking the game may have been more incorporated to our surroundings of the city we were in since we drove there to participate. Could have done anywhere without the gas expense and time. Otherwise all was good!
We did the wizard of oz game in Salem, OR and had a blast. I hadn’t been to the Capitol since I was a kid, it was great to walk around the city and the Capitol and play the game. My best friend is a huge Wizard of Oz fan and we loved it. Thank you!
This was a fun time. We loved that it was outdoors and the clues were hard enough to make you think but easy enough to be fun. Wish there were some decorations or advertisements but it was a fun time.
We tried this for our first time today and we will definitely be trying another one soon. We did The Oz Escape in Kenosha. Took about two and a half hours. We had 4 kids ranging from 8-13 and 5 adults ranging from 30-50. We saw tons of other people playing and many people were dressed up. We also learned things that we never knew about Oz and enjoyed the random things it had us do.
Fun way to get out of the house and spend some time with friends/family
The adventure was entertaining, especially with the group I was with. We each brought something to the table to solve the puzzles. This is a self guided adventure with no real guidance like signage than a map to find the next stop. As long as you can read a map you’re good. The one down side for us in the Wizard of Oz Minneapolis adventure was that the starting point was only accessible via stairs. I had my walker so getting up and down the stairs proved difficult. Please think about accessibil
What a great way to spend a little time exploring your city and making new acquaintances along the way! Worth the time, worth the investment in fun. Next time we will also spent time visiting some of the businesses along the way 🥰
This was my first time playing. I’m not very good with the use of technology but I truly enjoyed the experience!
We did The Oz Escape in Everett and had a great time. It was a fun way to explore the city. There were lots of other groups playing but while we would temporarily intersect at points we had our own paths and would soon separate, which I appreciated. Looking forward to doing more of these!
Four of us played together and we had so much fun trying to figure out the answers! We did get them all right by the way😊 It is a perfect distance to walk and learn more about the original book. We would enjoy doing another Questo Escape/Experience! Thank you for the fun!
This was a great time. We had a team of 4, all adults, and the clues were not too easy but easy enough that it didn’t take us an incredibly long time to for at least one of us to figure it out. I really enjoyed the bits of information the game provided that helped us learn more about the Oz story and it’s author. I’d love for Questo to host more games in the Twin Cities Metro area. I’d also love it if the games were hosted in spring or fall when the weather is more mild. I’ll definitely
This was such a fun event. We had a great time. Loved exploring some new and old places close to home. We had a little slower start because none of us had ever played before but once we figured out what we were doing it was lots of fun.
We had fun solving the puzzles and exploring the area in Old Town. Would definitely do this again!
I loved this adventure! It was so much fun playing with my family and seeing the kids get excited when they got a clue correct. It was also nice getting out walking around a portion of the city and seeing sights I had not seen before. I will definitely go back to NuLu. I hope this adventure comes back to Louisville soon. Definitely a fun activity to do with family or friends.
We had a great time playing the game and see the sites it took us to. Would definitely recommend
My family and I had so much fun. The location was perfect. I loved everyone’s costumes. We met a lot of awesome people who were also participating. Unfortunately it was a little difficult for everyone to find parking. However, we can’t wait to do it again when the weather warms up.
Had a great time with extended family walking around the city. It was cold but worth it!
It was fun. Like a kid level outdoor escape room. Lots dressed up in costume.
Had a fun time with 4 girlfriends today. Beautiful day at a great location. I preferred solving the clues that involved things not on my phone (architectural features of buildings and signs). Thanks!
we did the Wizard of Oz experience in Washington DC. It was really cool and the best part was we got to experience parts of the city we had not seen before. The only thing I would say is I wanted more clues that involved looking at things around us as opposed to just looking at her screen
We just completed the Oz Escape in Chicago. We enjoyed the walk and the puzzles. We learned more about the Wizard of Oz. My biggest joy was watching my eight year old granddaughter read the clues/puzzles and try to figure them out! It was fun to see other participants dressed up and participating in this event helped us notice somethings about the Lincoln Park area that we did not know. The only thing that would have made it better for our younger grandchildren was if there were decorations or a
We played The Wizard of Oz in Detroit and enjoyed walking around midtown and solving the puzzles. We even learned some new things about Oz that we didn’t know. The storyline was cute, the puzzles fun -not difficult except I had a hard time reading one puzzle due to my protective screen on my phone and the lighting. Loved seeing everyone dress up. Was an enjoyable way to spend some time with friends.
We had a good time in Detroit. The place that was picked was beautiful. For being the 1st time, we thought we would be interacting more with the surrounding for answers. I guess more like a scavenger hunt. You get a clue to figure out the next answer was. Overall, it was a great experience. It took a lot of creativity to plan such a big event. Good job!!
You can learn a lot about the city you're in, the story you're participating in & about yourself. We did Wizard of Oz in DC & it was great. We all loved the experience
The app worked very well, and we had a great time. We were expecting more real world interaction in the experience, but we still enjoyed it.
My family did a free challenge that took us all over San Diego’s Balboa Park. It was fun for everyone and got us outside for an entire afternoon! No phones (except to check clues) and lots of laughs. And it was free!
