QuickBend: Conduit Bending App Reviews

The more you explore and understand the tools in this app, the more impressive it becomes. Once you unlock its full potential is game over for everyone on the job site, there’s no bend you can’t do with this thing. I love the multiple bends feature also how easy and intuitive the interface of the app is. Is worth every penny, even if they increased the price 3 times I would still buy it again.

This app has everything you need to bend pipes, just awesome.

This is by far one of the best apps for bending conduit EVER! It has zero flaws honestly. It has all the math, all the information, all the specs, all in one app. You choose your bender (even down to the brand) hand bender, electric, Chicago bender whatever, type of conduit, size of conduit, your bend and all the info and numbers are displayed on an easy to read diagram. You learn something new everytime you use it. The only negative thing I can say is the user may become too dependent on it

This is by far the best and most useful app I have found for anything this takes all the math and equations out and just lets plug in your numbers and degrees and you can run with it. Does an excellent job wish there was a couple more different variations for some things running in parallels like when running a rack. Overall I LOVE IT

I am a first year apprentice and my JW literally just told me about this today, and I already feel compelled to leave a 5 star review. We are doing a ton of pipe bending including through stud. I have been getting some reps in and learning how to map out a run, but this is SO HELPFUL for visualizing and executing bends. Very intuitive to use, and it is conceptually very helpful. Developer clearly thought of every detail, grateful in 292.

Well designed, minimal learning curve; a no-frustration bend assistant. The fraction entry is clever… perhaps on the edge of too clever… but once you spot the denominator mode switch, it becomes memorable.

The multiplayer for a 10 degree bend is 6 and 6x1.5 is 9” not 8 5/8” so check your math please and come out with another update

This app has provided me with everything I need to know about conduit and more, I wish they could add the common things that connect to conduit, 3D examples as-well would be cool too. Love from all the way in AZ!

Simply irreplaceable for quick field bending

Just wish there was options to include different size conduits in the same parallel offset run

This is the only app that will help you match centers or bends etc. also will let you choose which bender you are using which makes a huge difference.

Easy to navigate, comprehensive, clear. I love that for every bender they go into detail, teaching you what the parts are and the measurement factors for each one. My only gripe is I wish they would add diagrams to the bender specs as each manufacturer uses a slightly different set of marks and design.

QuickBend **crushes**…well worth the 4$ to a fellow IBEW brother. Choose your bender (Chicago, sidewinder, shoe, hand benders of any and all brands), your type of bend (back to backs, offsets, 90’s with or w/o kick, splitting 90’s over an obstacle, you name it) and QuickBend spits out the numbers so that you can make all of your conduit marks before making a single bend. The only reason I gave it a 3 was because of the latest update. It was a great and easy to use app but the last update changed things that where great to bad .. Ps.. no one in the trade uses decimals To measure the outside diameter of a conduit , we use inches ..

Throughout my apprenticeship I used to app, now I have common bends written down. Thanks to this app i can perform and understand the bends.

awesome bending app, I use it everyday with multiple benders, emt and rigid only app I ever paid for!

Also it’s fast for those who are experienced at it!

I want to make a 3 point saddle with 3" rise with 1/2 emt, using hand bender. My angles are 45 degrees for the center and 22.5 for the outside bends. Why does the app say to make the ‘distance from the center of one bend, to the next bend’ 8 and 5/8 inches when all charts say 7 and 1/2?

Pay for the premium version. Unless you only bend conduit all day and memorize this stuff, it will be well worth it. I’ve been able to move away from doing lazy easy bends and have greatly decreased the number of j boxes and pull points I need to install.

Absolutely the best bender app available. Well worth the money. Nice clean interface and accurate measurements. No complaints!

How are we supposed to know which marks on bender to use (arrow,star,etc) and which to do first? Asking for help

The iPhone version of this app is not the same or as good as android version. Trying to do parallel kicks and it won’t change the reference pipe. The app is supposed to save time.

I don’t know if it’s just my app but the multiplier is off on mine. .
