I need a third mode for some waves where I can choose from any frequency not just 4 because I don’t have to think as hard when you just give me 4 options that are all right next to each other. Also the other games need more instruction because I am confused as to what I’m doing

As an audio engineer who did a lot of ear training in college this app is amazing. There is everything we used for ear training and more!! However the only complaint I have is only having 1/3 octave options as the lower decibel boosts. I would love if there was tat option for the easy options with the +10 to +6 options. That would perfect this app in my opinion. The pricing is right on the money I feel like. I would even be willing to pay 20 to 25 dollars a year after this change of course.

Great app, I’d love to be able to do the exercises on my studio monitors though. Any plans for a PC/Mac version?

I got this app off an Instagram ad for producers. I have been exceptionally pleased as to how my recognition of the frequencies has increased. It takes some time but it’s well worth it to be able to have a sort of perfect pitch. I’ll almost certainly pay for a second year when my subscription expires. Thanks Quiztones!

I think the app is a great idea. I like practicing ear training, but I’ve got a big problem with this app- It’s only subscription based. I want to own what I buy! No I don’t want to lease a phone app. Make a reasonably priced lifetime Pro and I’ll buy it.

Basic navigable UI, no ads so far (been like 3 days), Easy to repeat. Lots of different sounds to train the ear with as well. Unless you have a dying oath to another app there should be no reason you don’t pick this up.

This app is super easy to navigate and understand and so helpful with ear training. Definitely worth it for the inexpensive annual membership!

My audio engineer professor recommended this app to help us understand frequencies better. It’s helped so much!!!!!

Easy to use and effective training tool to develop your critical listening skills for audio engineering

I like this app a lot so far. It is not too expensive & it helps with what it is supposed to. I do think that adding more features such as gamifying the experience & being able to keep track of your progress would add a lot of value to the app. Also it would be nice if there was some type of training or description for each frequency that would help me & others identity the different characteristics of different frequencies to know exactly what to listen for

MAKE IT COMPETITIVE! I’m telling you, you will definitely get more longevity out of it if the tests tell you how you did compared to other people. Like a leaderboard, maybe just for the most popular tests! I know the competitive side of everyone will want to better their scores, making themselves listen better in the long run, also making them use the app more! WIN WIN!

It would be nice if you could break the quizzes down into smaller frequency ranges so you could section of ranges you want to study it would help pin point them better

I love this app - it’s simple and straightforward. I’d suggest being able to select certain FQs to practice instead of them all.

Has taken my ability to hear frequencies to heights I never imagined was possible at this point in my career. This app is a game changer. Be consistent with it and it will change the way you hear music.

I’m a bit of a workaholic, and blind, audio engineer. This is like the holy grail of an iOS game for me. It’s simultaneously fun and productive. I can play on the go to have better ideas of what I’m hearing on my phone for later correction in Pro Tools, or plug into one of my monitor sets at home to test my instinct... and it’s a game, with categories and scores. Much respect ✌️

Think this is one of the coolest apps ever made. Wish I had it growing up.

It’s a great tool but charging $15 monthly is a bit ridiculous. Would happily pay $20 once for everything or a few dollars here and there for certain quizzes or functionalities. Currently the pricing model is all or nothing in regards to features. I would even tolerate ads, just not $15 a month.
