Radar Omega - Live Weather App Reviews

I am a weather watcher, in my area, and I have tried just about every weather app on the App Store. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. Some give great info but the Radar is not very good; some are the opposite. Radar Omega gives great info and has many different Radar sources, with a visually appealing colors and accents, aka Twinkling Rain. I highly recommend this weather app for anyone who would like to see info beyond a basic temperature.

The life time free did go through, but didn’t realize it.

You need to pay for a little to many things

Problem: It (weather alert) failed to locate me, thinking I still live down south. App needs to access my current location.

I need weather updates as part of my job in local government and being able to see it quickly and cleanly is important. Vortix is not alone in the space, but I do like their clean execution.

I'm generally not one to follow weather news closely, but I have to say, this app has truly changed my perspective! It provides timely warnings about fog, freezing temperatures, heavy rain, and so much more. I really appreciate having this tool; it makes a real difference in my day. Please, vendor, keep it available on the Apple Store!

Words on top of words make it difficult to read- no “future” radar…

This app would be useful if: 1) It allowed you to manually set a location. There appears to be an option for it but it doesn’t actually work. 2) Most of the different map types and overlay options weren’t broken. 3) It had widgets. All the weather apps I use have widgets in the Today view so I can quickly compare conditions and forecasts. Opening the apps themselves rarely happens, if ever. See: Windy.com and Foreca
