Add signals in the US and get more info.
I want to see if trains could be coming or not. Signals would gladly help. And getting more info to see the speed on the lines
Overlay Removal Option
It would be nice to also have a viewing option WITHOUT the overlay, so that more detail can be seen when zooming in for a close look. The overlay in such cases, blocks a lot of detail.
It’s good
I like it. I keep it on my main page on my iPhone. It’s missing a few lines here and there, has a few others that I was not aware of, even in PA. Recommended for train enthusiasts, rail trails users, outdoorsmen/hunters, historians, anyone who lives somewhere rural near old or abandoned lines.
Good
Cool app but it’s a little glitchy. When zooming in sometimes the map/track won’t load so you have to zoom out then back in again to get it to hopefully “reset”. Wish that could get fixed

This app helped find a defunct railroad that I didn’t even existed. So thanks a million folks.
great app for finding current and / or decommissioned lines
out of all the other railroad apps I’ve used this one is the best! it shows the current and abandoned lines, which is so helpful with my interest in finding old rail beds and sights. has so many rail lines listed, so great!!

5 stars except one thing. As a railfan you could get more customers adding a feature where you can track trains.

Willing to pay for more
I love this app, and I would be happy to pay for it. I would like to see one change, and that would be for it to download and maintain data on the phone or tablet. With a poor data connection, it’s often a long wait for abandoned grades to appear.

How about an option for a 1 time fee to drop ads, say $3.
It doesn’t work very good
A lot of times when I use it if zoom in within 0.5 miles the rail legends disappear and it’s really annoying

Could be better
Tracks stop showing up after using the app for a few minutes. It’s just a glorified front end for openrailwaymap and the developer didn’t even bother to change the name of the app from Mapply.
No Signals
Signals do not show up, really the one reason I wanted to use it
