26 Positive User Reviews for RainAware Weather Timer

Reliable - Accurate - Worth Every Penny

One of the very few apps that I can reliably use as a Golf Pro Shop Manager in Mercer County central NJ that can give up to the minute accurate forecasts in a micro climate up to the minute with radar accuracy! You can set your watch by the predicted shower estimates times of arrival as well as length of rain or snow

Fair on accuracy

Weather app, which was free tends to be as accurate, if not more so. Right now it says "dry" for next few hours, yet it is sprinkling. It's interesting to check out, but disappointed in the accuracy. For the price, I expected better. Should have been $ .99

You never Know!

It will tell you it’s going to rain, then disappear, then say rain stopping in an hour, etc—before a drop ever falls. So, not very reliable.

Love It! Love It! Love It!

Absolutely the best planning app for running errands.

Pretty accurate!

I have many weather apps and this is my go-to app when there is any chance of rain.

At one point it was the authority

It has NOT been as good or accurate and I would not pay for it now. I paid for this app 8 years ago, I would not pay for it today

Very dependable!

I always check this app so I know when to let my dog out. It helps!!!

Thanks

Easy to use .

Most useful short term forecast

Excellent, works very well for you and radar is easy to use as it shows the storm direction very fast.

Love it

Love this app. Accurate and up to date. What else do you need?!?

Very Accurate

I’ve had Rain Aware for a few years now and I rely on it when I want minute to minute forecasts for when I want to run out on an errand or mow the lawn, etc. I can see, for example, that I have “x” amount of minutes to do this or that. It’s pretty much right on.

My personal outdoor look-out…

I’m able to see whether I should start wrapping up my outdoor activities in 10 minutes or 30 that’s how accurate the rain forecast at virtually my exact spot will be. It definitely helps me plan.

My rain review-pretty accurate

Happy the way the app works

Needs help

Long in the tooth Needs update. Radar does not load Too many other apps do the same thing Fix or drop from store

Rain Aware

This is my favorite weather app-always accurate!

61 degrees & snow

Wednesday 61 degrees & 100% chance of snow…some of your recent forecasts have been a little unbelievable…if this week’s forecast is accurate, I’ll be very surprised

Great app but not working 12/30/23

App opens but can’t download any data

Seems to godown when needs most

It seems that RainAware goes down in the winter time during a big storm when we need the most. When it works it works great when it doesn’t. It doesn’t work great.

8 Negative User Reviews for RainAware Weather Timer

Disappointed in Metairie LA

Loosing its accuracy! It used to be much more accurate and dependable. Hard to depend on it now!

Totally wrong!

Last couple days it’s literally raining on me, and Rain Aware says nothing!

Worse lately

This app is only 50% accurate now. I used to be able to time my lunch hours and store runs.

Not accurate

Many times it shows dry when we are having very heavy rains. Accuracy is not good

Is it still working?

Bought this app years ago, it was great. Now it doesn’t connect to servers and the last update to it was at least 2 years ago.

What’s happened?

This App used to be accurate to the minute in my area, but over the last several months the rain clock shows nothing even with steady fizzle visible. Sensitivity at max. Help!

Rarely Accurate

It can be dumping rain or snow outside my window but RainAware says it’s dry with no precipitation expected. Pretty much useless. I rarely look at it and when I do, it’s mostly for entertainment! “Nothing to see here!”

502.3

This is what I get when I try to use it. I wouldn’t pay for this!
