I’ve enjoyed playing Ravenmark since it came out. I like the tactical gameplay and the storyline, as well as some of the background lore (I wish there was more of that). The storyline and the characters draw you in, while the battles challenge you, since you have certain limitations the computer doesn’t. I’ve played the now-defunct Ravenmark: Mercenaries as well but quickly gave up due to the focus on multiplayer at the expense of the storyline. I strongly recommend Ravenmark: SoE to anyone wh
This is by far one if not the best game I have played for my phone. It plays similar to Advanced Wars from Nintendo.
Deep strategy and worth gameplay..!
Turn based strategy at its best!!
Amazing game. It's like chess: easy to learn, difficult to master. Move and learn how to conquer your enemies with a nice storyline accompanying it. Definitely worth the money!
At first the combat was extremely frustrating but once you get the hang of putting formations together, checking who attacks first, and what units are better against which the game gets really fun. Medals offer nice replay value too
The strategy is deep, engaging, fun, and original.
This game has great mechanics and gameplay run very well on the touch screen. The actual difficulty can be frustrating when first starting. The story seems interesting as well. Overall great game.
I needed something like fftactics, and Ravenmark provides! Excellent fun
This is by far one if not the best game I have played for my phone. It plays similar to Advanced Wars from Nintendo.
A very entertaining way to not do anything productive for a couple hours
Excellent game. Not a waste of money.
I love it! Beat the entire game and will buy the sequel. Compelling story, great mechanics, nice UI. My favorite iPhone game for sure. You really need to play this. Very reasonably priced campaign as we'll.
Good controls, interesting story and even pace.
This is a superb masterpiece of art and strategy from a very dedicated team. One of the best games I've ever played on my iPhone.
This is a great game. It has a deep storyline with lots of detail and great gameplay. This games unique tactical system seems unweildy at first but once you get the hang of it becomes a lot of fun. Definitly recomend.
Prelude took a bit, but finally done. Game seems like it has great promise.
I just wish it would never end... A fantastic turn based game.
Definite fan of srpg and this game has good gameplay and a good story.
i was doubtful with first view of cartoon-ish screenshots, but the great story and tactics of gameplay made be a believer. only did the prelude, but so far this is a very good game
This game by far is one my favorite games to play and it's a great game for people who love war strategy but even though it gets hard as u progress on that's just what makes it addictive.
A great, deep, turn based strategy game. Well worth the money. Try the first campaign free and you'll end up buying it for sure.
It's been nearly 4 years and this is still my favorite game on iOS. Deep tactical combat, and engaging story, beautiful music and artwork. Not sure how this game hasn't gotten more press and accolades, but you won't regret buying this.
If you like turn-based strategy, just buy this NOW.
I thought this game was going to be boring but when I got into it I couldn't get out of it every mission brought me deeper into the plot and I loved it the turn based strategy involved was great I loved playing this game
If you loved Banner Saga, try out this game too!
Great game! Must have for any real fan of strategy games.
Closest thing to Fire Emblem on a phone
highly reccomended if you like strategy, however progress cannot be synced between devices dur to broken WHS account/facebook connect feature. Progress is NOT synced via iCloud.
I love Ravenmark, there isn’t a better strategy game for iOS out there.
Absolutely phenomenal with a compelling story. The writing doesn't feel dumbed down or inane like many other RPG titles out in the App Store right now.
