Reciprocity Timer App Reviews

As all of my lenses have speeds that are NOT true to their stated times, that had cause many years of frustration in attempts to get good exposures. I had purchased a shutter speed timer, and hand written the speed averages for each, but attempting to then mentally calculate exposure reciprocity? It was a nightmare. Then I hear of “Reciprocity Timer”. Now with the App enhancement of being able to enter my own shutter speeds, I have consistently taken good exposure photos time and time again.

Seems like a useful app, but I may never really know. The text on screen is way too tiny to read. Does the designer intend for us to use a lupe??

Keeps crashing or deleting custom settings. Tried contacting developer and got no response. UPDATE: app is working great now after a conversation with the developer. Sent him screen recordings and data to help him figure it out. App update was done in a few hours, approved by Apple and downloaded to my phone a couple hours later. It’s already helped me. Cheers.

Other films I checked are ok. Very useful app for me but I would verify your film is correct.

Very useful and handy. Everyones times will very slightly based on developer dillutions and so on but this is a very nice app and gets me where I need to be without making me think like too hard.

I would love to see Portra 160, other than that a fantastic app!!!!

Love the app so far. Love the bellows extension. I came across some Arista edu 400iso (4x5) and noticed that neither it nor Foma 400 (if it exists) are on the app. Is there any way this can be added? Thanks!

The notes function (pro version) is pretty clunky. Can't add categories on the fly, and apparently can't move notes between categories. If not for that, it's 5 star.

Not enough credit is given for this app. This app is incredibly handy for calculating bellows compensation and reciprocity. Yes, this app could use more films in the database, but as a 4x5 shooter, all of the emulsions I need are listed.

App closes when choosing a custom film holder with Pro version. Reinstalled app and still doesn’t work. I tried contacting developer, but I don’t Facebook. Otherwise, app is very helpful.
